How to obtain: Upgrade any basic weapon to +10 using Hardstones
Tips: Pretty straight forward. Concentrate your efforts on the Hoplites and Crystal Lizards of Boletarian Palace, as well as the Crystal Lizards of Stonefang Tunnel. They all drop Hardstones and Sharpstones, while the Crystal Lizards in Stonefang Tunnel also drop Clearstones. For Pure Hardstones, concentrate on the Crystal Lizards of the 1-4 after the Penetrator Archstone.

How to obtain: Upgrade any basic weapon to +10 using Sharpstone.
Tips: See tips for obtaining the Trophy of Hardness. Pure Sharpstones can also be aquired from Crystal Lizards in 1-4
Trophy of Distinction
Obtained Best Weapon by Clearstone
How to obtain: Upgrade any basic weapon to +5 using Clearstone. These weapons will have a "Quality" Prefix in their name.
Tips: Clearstones are dropped by the Crystal Lizards of Stonefang Tunnel. The further through the world you go, the higher grade of stones they will drop. In 2-2 there is a Crystal Lizard nest in one corner of the level. If you have the spell God's Wrath, it makes for a quick collection of hard,sharp and clearstones. To find a Pure Clearstone, you will need to harvest it from the Crystal Lizard in 2-3 by the Second Special Weapon. Drop rate is not 100%
Master Hitter's Trophy
Obtained Best Weapon by Greystone
How to obtain: Upgrade any basic weapon to +5 using Greystone. These weapons will have a "Crushing" prefix in their name.
Tips: Greystones are harvested in Stonefang Tunnels from the lava-spitting worms and hammer-wielding miners in 2-2. A Pure Greystone is granted to you from Scirvir in 2-2, once Pure White World Tendency is attained and the Dragon Bone Smasher is acquired from the entrance of 2-3 and presented to him. It is also possible for a Pure Greystone to be dropped by one of the lava-spitting worms.
Master Slicer's Trophy
Obtained Best Weapon by Bladestone
How to obtain: Upgrade any basic weapon to +5 using Bladestone. These weapons will have a "Sharp" prefix in their name.
Tips: This trophy is quite possibly the hardest trophy to obtain in Demon's Souls. A Pure Bladestone is dropped by a single enemy in 4-2 that only appears in near-Pure Black World Tendency. It is a Black Phantom Dual Katana wielding Black Skeleton and is quite possibly the most dangerous non-boss enemy you will encounter in the entire game. Drop rate of this item is slim. Click the link in the left side-bar for Soul Farming and under 4-2, you will find suggestions on how to dispatch this Black Phantom with little to no trouble and other rewards besides Bladestones.
Master Bowman's Trophy
Obtained Best Bow by Spiderstone
How to obtain: Upgrade any basic bow to +5 using Spiderstone. These weapons will have a "Sticky" prefix in their name.
Tips: Spiderstones are dropped by the bare-fisted miners in 2-1 and 2-2. There are also fixed treasures containing Spiderstones and a Pure Spiderstone is obtained through the defeat of the Armor Spider Demon.
Poison Master's Trophy
Obtained Best Weapon by Mercurystone
How to obtain: Upgrade any basic weapon to +5 using Mercurystone. These weapons will have a "Mercury" prefix in their name.
Tips: Mercurystones are found in the Tower of Latria. Shards can be found on bodies in 3-1 and as item drops from enemies and chunks and Pure Mercurystones are dropped in 3-2 by Celebrity Vermin. A Pure Mercurystone can also be found on a corpse in the final chamber of the Valley of Defilement.
Flame Master's Trophy
Obtained Best Weapon by Dragonstone
How to obtain: Upgrade any basic weapon to +5 using Dragonstone. These weapons will have a "Dragon" prefix in their name.
Tips: This is one of the easier forging trophies to obtain, as you are awarded a Pure Dragonstone for defeating the Dragon God in the Stonefang Tunnels. The remaining Shards and Chunks of Dragonstone can be harvested from the Bugbears in the caverns and tunnels of 2-2 and also found as treasure in the same area
Blood Master's Trophy
Obtained Best Weapon by Suckerstone
How to obtain: Upgrade any basic weapon to +5 using Suckerstone. These weapons will have a "Tearing" prefix in their name.
Tips: Suckerstones are found in 2 worlds instead of just 1 like the other "exotic" ores, but that is because the enemy that drops them is found in both worlds. Giant Slugs/Leeches are found in the caves of 4-2, on the way to the Old Hero Demon and in great abundance in the swamps of the Valley of Defilement (5-2). Giant slugs in both worlds drop all forms of Suckerstone and in the Valley of Defilement, Shard, Chunk, and Pure can all be found as treasure throughout.
Life Master's Trophy
Obtained Best Weapon by Marrowstone
How to obtain: Upgrade any basic weapon to +5 using Marrowstone. These weapons will have a "Fatal" prefix in their name.
Tips: Marrowstones are dropped in the Valley of Defilement by inhabitants of the blood-sucking, six-legged variety. In 5-1 by the Giant Ticks and 5-2 by the Giant Mosquitoes. A Pure Marrowstone can be found on a corpse in the final chamber of the Valley of Defilement.
Moonlighter's Trophy
Obtained Best Weapon by Moonlightstone
How to obtain: Upgrade any basic weapon to +5 using Moonlightstone. These weapons will have a "Moon" prefix in their name.
Tips: Moonlightstones are most reliably dropped by the Crsytal Lizards of the Tower of Latria. Pure Moonlightstone can be obtained from either the Crystal Lizard in 3-2 or at the end of 3-3. Since drop rate is not 100%, pure black world tendency is recommended.
Darkmoon Master's Trophy
Obtained Best Weapon by Darkmoonstone
How to obtain: Upgrade any basic weapon to +5 using Darkmoonstone. These weapons will have a "Crescent" prefix in their name.
Tips: Shards and Chunks of Darkmoonstone can be obtained from either the Grim Reapers in 4-2 or the Crystal Lizards throughout world 4. Pure Darkmoonstone, however, can only be obtained from the Crystal Lizards in 4-2 and 4-3.
Congratulant's Trophy
Obtained Best Weapon by Faintstone
How to obtain: Upgrade any basic weapon to +5 using Faintstone. These weapons will have a "Blessed" prefix in their name.
Tips: Faintstones are found in the Valley of Defilement. They are dropped by the Glowing Depraved Ones (the ones that can cast Poison Cloud) and the Valley of Defilement Crystal Lizards. You can obtain a Pure Fainstone by talking with the Saint Urbain's female follower if you have a Faith status of above 20, before you rescue Saint Urbain at 4-2. You can alternatively find another Pure Fainstone at the Maiden Astrea chamber, together with other rare ores.
Shade Master's Trophy
Obtained Best Weapon by Cloudstone
How to obtain: Upgrade any basic shield to +5 using Cloudstone. These weapons will have a "Dark" prefix in their name.
Tips: All forms of Cloudstone are dropped by the Storm Beasts of the Shrine of Storms and a Pure Cloudstone is awarded upon defeat of the Storm King. Since the drop rate is rather low, Pure Black World Tendency is recommended when farming the Storm Beasts.

Note: Some rings are acquired through World Tendency events, from Black Phantoms and NPCs in living body. Even in the event of a Black Phantoms vanquishing, or the death of an NPC in living body, the opposite World Tendency event is still possible; provided that there is an opposite World Tendecy event available, to occur.
In multiplayer, items can be exchanged between players at the discretion of the player offering the item. This trophy is contingent upon the player having all rings in their possession for a short duration while the trophy unlocks. Once the trophy has been unlocked the rings are no longer required and may be given back or given away, if no longer needed by the player in possession.
