Temple Knight

The Temple Knight is essentially a hybrid class between a Priest and a Knight; trading the Knight's initial flexibility for higher faith, the Heal Miracle and more effective (but heavier) armour alongside a longer range weapon. Expect a balanced difficulty for this class (again, much like the Knight).

Pros

  • The Temple Knight begins with the strongest, and heaviest, armor of all starting classes.
  • It comes with the Heater Shield which is the lightest shield to provide 100% damage cut on a successful block.
  • Starts with a Halberd; a very balanced weapon with good range, damage, and versatility.
  • Starts with the Heal Miracle and a Talisman of God; if you're running low on healing items this can be a godsend.
  • High faith means a higher magic defense than other classes, and grants easier access to Faith based weapons later on.

Cons

  • The heaviest armor set up at creation in the game, you will have a hard time dodging or finding room for new weapons you acquire.
  • Using the Halberd properly means using it two handed and as a result makes it impossible to use your shield.
  • Using the Halberd one-handed in enclosed spaces like corridors is nigh impossible.
  • Low Luck stat means a much worse drop rate and fewer healing items.
  • The Heal Miracle take a large portion of your MP and low Intelligence means you start with very little.
