My understanding from other locations is that the circle and X controls are actually mapped to the confirm and cancel actions, i.e. they change depending on whether the PS3 is a Western or Asian unit. If someone would confirm this it would probably be mention it on the page.

That is correct. However, this is the Official North American Wiki, so we see no need in accounting for previous versions of the game released in other regions. Otherwise we'd be making all sorts of notes that are of no pertinence to the intended audience of this wiki.--Richard 04:20, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
