Knight

The Knight class is an armored and flexible class well suited for close range combat. Knights begin with a set of Fluted Armor, a Kite Shield, a Long Sword, and a Mail Breaker. The Knight's starting equipment and balanced stats make him an excellent choice for beginner players.

Pros

• Great starting armor allows more room for mistakes for players learning the ropes.
• One of the best starting shields with 100% damage cut.
• Balanced stats allows the knight to be easily developed in most any direction.
• High strength lets the Knight use most weapons found early in the game.
• Comes with a Mail Breaker, which can be used without having to drop the shield

Cons

• The Knight's low luck causes item drops to be less plentiful.
• No spells are known on character creation despite meeting minimum stats.
• Heavy armor will slow you down and make your combat rolls slow and risky.
• No true ranged attack option on character creation.
• Tied for lowest Vitality out of all the melee centric classes.
