Blacksmith Boldwin

Blacksmith Boldwin is located in the Nexus next to Stockpile Thomas and will help you keep your weapons and shields in good shape, or upgrade them - for a price. He also sells a small collection of consumable items, weapons, arrows and bolts.

Like all characters in Demon's Soul, he can be killed, so be careful if you are testing a weapon near him. If killed he will drop Hands of God.

To have Blacksmith Boldwin repair your armor, weapons or shields, approach him with the item in your inventory and enough souls to pay for the repairs. The more damaged, used or valuable the item is, the more it will cost to repair. The Durability of an item will affect how often the item needs to be repair. A low Durability value will mean more repairs.

Weapon and shield upgrades are limited to the basic path (Hardstones and Sharpstones) and the Clearstone advance line. All other upgrades must be performed by Blacksmith Ed. He is however, able to repair all weapon types - which is great as it saves a trip to Blacksmith Ed.

Blacksmith Boldwin is the younger brother of Blacksmith Ed.
