The upcoming King of the Fighters Tournament is being co-sponsored by famous European financiers and major European enterprises. The Garcia Foundation is one of the leading sponsors, so Robert Garcia will be unable to participate in the tournament. Therefore, Takuma Sakazaki, founder of a style of extreme contact karate, has chosen to appear in his place. In order to prove the strength of his extreme contact karate style, Takuma is joined by his son, Ryo, who is known as the "Invincible Dragon", and his powerful daughter, Yuri. The Sakazaki family team is after only one thing - victory.
