Has anyone ever played "Revelations the Demon Slayer"?
Just wondering if anyone has ever played or even heard of this game. My friend lent it to me a long time ago and I beat it and got all the boss enemies to join my party. It was a pretty neat game, albeit a bit short.

I'm playing it right now.
I'm near the beginning where there's a demon force field in one of the towns.
...Okay I haven't played it in awhile but the main menu music is amazing.

There were actually three of these titles in Japan, under the name Last Bible. I never really gave them a fair shot, perhaps I'll try out Demon Slayer.

I had a copy of this once, a complete one too. I got a good deal on it, but I didn't play it often so I sold it to a collector friend of mine. It was fun, but I don't know if I would ever have the time to spare. @.@

It was actually my first SMT game. Not that I really understood much of what was happening back then (used game, so no instructions or anything), and I didn't think about looking up the info on the 'net either.

Picked this up when I was a kid during the whole initial Pokemon along with Dragon Warrior Monsters. My siblings and I liked pokemon well enough... but even as 12-14yos we were looking for something with a slightly more serious story. Liked this one so much that we got extra copies so we didn't have to share... our friends thought we were nuts for playing a game where you couldn't see graphics of your characters.
Wasn't till a good couple of years later that it clicked with us that "El" is another name for "YHVH" and that the game was a pre-Genesis story. We heard about Demi-Kids while we were still in high school and made the connection that the two played with the same mechanics... but it wasn't until I was well over twenty that I realized there was a whole SMT universe out there waiting for me to play it.
My younger siblings still haven't played through the original SMTs like I have... younger sister has started SMT1, but she seems a little afraid to play a game that might show God/Angels in a bad light. I'm horrible... I half play the games just so I can play against such beings/ideas even if only through a game.

Heh, I abused auto-battle in this game royally. Got me killed a few times, but I got max stats after grinding around in the final dungeon.

This. I bought this game used in a secondhand store quite a few years ago, because I had heard Persona (which was the only other SMT game out at the time) was good. I didn't know about SMT at the time, but looking at the publishing companies and the "Revelations" in the title, I concluded that they were part of the same series. I gave up pretty quickly, though, because the negotiation system confused me and I had no documentation. I may go back to it now that I have more experience with SMT games.
