Pleeeeeeease, Atlus. I'll ALMOST forgive you for not bringing the original Growlanser over on the PSP.

I'll get this day 1 if Atlus release in NA. However since I don't see this happening I'll probably just import it like I did with Growlanser 1

It's really too bad Atlus has given up on Growlanser in America. They need to let someone else that is interested in it license it.

Will throw in my support as well. Limited Editions may help sales if done so.

Yep. I want this. I want this bad. But as long as we're indulging in fantasies, I'd like this to come in a double UMD collector's edition with the original Growlanser. *sigh* I miss WD...

Famitsu coverage of Growlanser IV Overload
http://www.famitsu.com/news/201104/28043064.html
Longtime Growlanser fan, Shouta said:
"Growlanser IV Overload is an enhanced port similar to Growlanser I. It has new characters, new events, and even new story parts that branch off from the original game. They show two new characters, Familiar Type D-MD and Tricia."

Please Atlus, I'm begging you... don't be like Namco and refuse your audience the most lauded game in a series (as they did with Tales of Rebirth). Please! I have been DYING to play this game for so many years!

Atlus, I pray you can get this gem. I'd be willing to SELL MY SOUL *demonic laughter is heard* to get this here. Unlike other people who say they'll buy something only to not do it, I NEVER TURN DOWN A GROWLANSER GAME!
*looks at the PS1 version of the original he imported*
I have a friend who speaks Japanese.

If the Growlanser community was 10% as devoted and cultish as the Tales fanbase is, we'd have every Growlanser game by now.

But we don't even have every Tales game so how is that really a good comparison?

Please, please, PLEASE localize this! I love all three of the Growlanser games that have been localized and would love the chance to play another one...While I know this will never happen, I'd also like to request that the remake of Growlanser I be included with Growlanser IV in some spiffy boxset...I'd buy it, day one. Please don't let this series remain dead in North America...please...

The sheer amount of Tales fans deluging Namco convinced them to bring over Graces. (I think.)

No, I think Graces F is coming here because they bring most main games here. They just FINALLY learned about Tales Studio's habit to do enhanced ports and decided to wait a bit.
Oh god, if we could get this too after the latest Ys and Trails in the Sky release on PSP, I think I couldn't possibly hope for more JRPGs in NA.

I would love to see this in english
I would buy 2 copies of this on day 1. I hope all the support for Growlanser convinces Atlus that this will be a profitable venture.

I support this, especially when this is one of the legendary in-house Atlus franchises that has these strong selling points:
--trademark glossy/"shiny" artwork by Satoshi Urushiraha
--a strong storyline with consistent timeline, similar to Suikoden by Konami
--a constant mention within "Must-Play" lists
to name what I can, as of this writing.

I feel bad for Urushihara, since the current industry doesn't really have much use for an artist who specializes in designing adults. He's an amazing artist, and deserves more work.
(For all I know, maybe he is keeping busy, but I never see his work outside of Growlanser as of recent.)

CJ, remember the time when JRPG haters were whining, "all JRPG protagonists are whiny teenagers!", to the point it was never lived down? In hindsight, the fact Mr. Urushihara's style is designing adult characters would've been a great selling point and anti-thesis to the whiners.
