Exclamation Timeline Discussion.

There's an interesting discussion on Megami Tensei wikia about the timelines.

http://megamitensei.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:Timeline

You think these timelines are correct, something should be added or would like to comment about them?
Discuss it here.

Incorrect on the 2nd one. The correct ending for SMT1 was the Law Ending. That's what led to Imagine and SMT2.

Why?The world in SMT:Imagine is almost destroyed, there's no way to be the Law ending.

Whoops, sorry. Just looked more into it and it turns out that you were right. I hate it when my information is wrong...how am I supposed to deal with rumors if I have inaccurate sources?

I personally think the developers don't even consider for a nano-second how the contuinity of SMT games fit together. All the "connections" between game are just throwaway cameos.

So then Persona 3 and Persona 4 aren't part of the same timeline? That ANGERS me.

Whoever wrote that doesn't understand that the "quest mode" is fiction in P2. That'd be like saying the Raidou games and P4 must exist in the same timeline because there's a TV show about him.

....Don't be so obtuse. P3/P4 are obvious one time exceptions, just like DDS1/2, Devil Summoner series, P1/P2 etc. etc.

But when you try and tie games like P4 and Raidou together,(NAOTO HAS A SIMILAR HAT TO RAIDOU THAT TOTALLY MEANS SHE IS HIS DESCENDANT AND PERSONA 4 TAKES PLACE IN THE KUZUNOHA'S 32ND TIMESPLIT) things get silly.

Stuff like Vincent appearing in club Escapade, the Persona 2 characters appearing on a fake tv show, Tammy in P2 looking suspiciously a lot like the main character of IF.....they are all just fun little cameos.
