Possibility of reversible covers?

I'm probably not the only one who is surprised at seeing BOTH covers being used! After seeing the unboxing, I guess Japan did not include reversible covers for the characters...

Is there a possibility Atlus America could make this happen? Especially since there's a number of titles that already DO have inside cover art. However, if it's not possible, what are the chances of having reversible character art, at least?

Would be a nice touch. Gutted that the PS3 gets Catherine instead of Katherine. Although I own a 360, the games tend to be region locked which means I can't play US copys.

The cover with Katherine on it, from a design standpoint, is atrocious. Why would you want to look at something so poorly designed simply because it has a character that you prefer?

I'm not quite sure what you're getting at. They're both fairly similar in design. The main differences is just the character and the placement of Vincent. Besides, preference is purely subjective, what you dislike others may like.

The logo placement and the colors on the Katherine cover just simply do not work well together. It's not horrible, it's just not good.

My problem is that it seems.... off to me with kathrine. Idk the plot suggests cathrine as a sex figure with kathrine as more of a mature, personal person.

That and cathrine is more iconic with the story..... plus then the title is really misleading on 360.

I'd love a reversable cover only for the sake that I love the artist's work so much. I really don't care much for Katherine so far, (maybe that'll change once I play it).

I think that having reversible cover arts is a nice idea. Because I know that I will get the PS3 version of the game for guaranteed quality, but I seriously prefer Katherine over the slut.

I think both covers are kind of ugly, but I think the PS3 version is the worse one.

They're both a cluttered mess, but the PS3 one is made even more so with all the frills and whatnot attached to the titular Catherine.

No, I get what you're saying, the color contrast with Katherine's clothes and the rest of the box looks like ass. I'm not denying this.

I'm just saying the cluttered mess that is the PS3 version is worse. I think it is a much bigger issue which affects both covers.

There's also the logo placement. Clutter isn't always bad, either. Regardless of preference, the PS3 cover is artistically better than the 360. Does that mean people can't like the 360 cover? Of course not, that's why we have opinions.

Just because clutter bothers you, it doesn't mean that it doesn't work with that specific design. You're free to like whatever cover you want, nobody said you can't.

You fail to see that there is no objective standard to hold these boxes too.

I think clutter(unless done right) is a mark of poor boxart design(so is poor color contrast, mind you) and when looking at these boxarts, I think the PS3 version is easily the one with the bigger problem. Like I said,

Qualitative evaluations are subjective as well, don't kid yourself.

..because a person likes the character is why one would look at it, if you like something you would most likely like something about it even if it is just the character being on the picture. but it does depends on your whole background and personality and blah blah blah.

I like the 360 cover more then the PS3 one. Getting a reversible cover is something I could support easy even though I plan to buy both versions anyways.
