I would recommend it and consider it worth the price, but I question it's replay value.

Yes. And yes. And yes again.

Though in all honesty, in terms of replay value, it only applies if you're interested in any of this:
a). Doing a second playthrough to see the unique NG+ dialogue and have a bit of stuff carry over
b). Doing another playthrough in From mode for the extra challenge and the novelty of seeing huge mobs of enemies all over the place and enemy types in areas where they wouldn't normally appear (this could actually be done at the same time as (a))
c). Doing another playthrough in Spelunker mode to see it's unique dialogue and give yourself a ridiculous challenge
d). Spending a bunch of time creating characters
e). If you can get into Block Defense (the tower defense mini-game), there's at least a dozen hours of content in it, if not significantly more (and that's not counting time spent failing before trying again)
f). If you gotta get that platinum trophy, there's plenty for you to do before it'll happen

If you like old school zelda it is worth the price of admission and it is that simple. Besides it has Demon's Souls jokes in it and you can loot sticky white stuff. What more could you possibly want?

100% worth it for the reasons mentioned above as well as awesome music. Especially if you judge game worth according to price. For the $29.99 I usually see it going for now, you could easily sink 50+ hours into the game, which is a bargain by my standards. When I first cracked it open, I spend 10 hours in the character editor (making an original hero, heroine, and Mega Man), then my first playthrough took me about 25 hours, and I just finished my From Mode playthrough with another 25 hours on the clock. I still have to collect some more stuff and then give Spelunker mode a run, so I'm looking at 70+ hours before I'm finished with this game.

Worth it. Every penny it's worth it.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the... oh, a new game? Uh... maybe picture if The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess had been released on an old system, maybe the SNES for example, and had its named changed to something like A Link to the Past.
