If you opt to play Demon's Souls online on Halloween, quest with caution...

IRVINE, CALIFORNIA -- OCTOBER 29, 2009 -- Atlus U.S.A., Inc. today passed along an ominous warning to online players of the sleeper hit Demon's Souls™ for PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.

"Early reports from the Kingdom of Boletaria indicate that the Old One's power grows," announced Aram Jabbari, Manager of PR and Sales for Atlus, shuffling awkwardly under the weight of his full set of fluted armor. "We've discovered that the nefarious Demon will seek to descend the land in pure blackness on All Hallow's Eve. His minions will be more powerful, but the rewards for those who seek to challenge them will be greater as well. We don't know how long this dark tendency will last, but we do advise those prone to controller-into-LCD syndrome to proceed carefully." Jabbari then cackled as he quickly put a Thief's ring on his finger and disappeared.

Ha! Thanks for the correction, and yes my days are confused. It's funny, Detroit is infamous for devil's night. No one has ever heard of devil's night. There will be 600 houses burned down in the D tomorrow.

Eh who cares if we stay pure black, this saves me alot of extra farming work and needless deaths. Besides you can always shift it back white easily by slaying bp's or bosses, etc etc.

During PBWT, Primeval Demon appears in certain worlds. Enemy are stronger but they give more souls and better loot.

I want to know this too. I have just gotten world 4 to near PW. I wanted to get Makoto and then I was going to hold off killing Satsuki, until I got the friend ring. I already killed him in BP form and the PD for that world, so getting back to PW will be a pain.

If they won't change back, is it just the worlds you go that get set to PB or all?

Don't worry, its just pure black tendency. You can do that regardless of your level, now defeating the black phantom NPCs is another matter entirely.

I am crossing my fingers for some DLC including new items, and enemies, possibly? I hope D: Considering I've already done all of my WT and BT events on 4 characters D; and it appears the Halloween party me and my GF were going to is going to be cancelled, so I hope to participate in this

atleast some new sort of drops >_>
