About Demon's Souls
King Allant the XII, the last king of Boletaria, searched tirelessly to expand his might. The Nexus, a great ice shrine nestled in the mountains, bestowed the power of the souls onto him, bringing prosperity to his kingdom. Still unsated, he returned again to the Nexus, where he foolishly awakened the Old One from its eternal slumber. This long forgotten evil, now wrought upon Boletaria, plunged the realm into darkness and fog. A mighty demon horde poured into the kingdom, devouring the souls of men.

I just registered to post how awesome it is you guys picked this up.

I imported the game awhile ago and it's definitely at the top of my rated list for this gen, got the plat trophy and everything in it. Hell, if it ends up coming out here in Australia I just might pick it up again.

I've always though that the first game that was going to be released by Atlus for the next gen consoles, was going to be a Megaten game. I haven't heard much of the game, but I know Atlus is well known for their kick-ass RPGs, so I will definitely give it a shot! And it's good to know I have a PS3 by now

Have the Asian version of the game & already clocked in 269 hours with male chara & 90 hours with a female one... what I want to say is: 'Tis the best RPG this gen! So, dear Atlus, congrats on getting publishing rights for this niche masterpiece here ~_^

I'm quite excited over this one. Every import preview/review of this has gotten me excited about it.
