Post here if you pre-ordered, but didn't receive your art book

I've seen one complaint so far... So we're opening a thread to collect information on people who didn't get an art book with their Eternal Poison purchase. Information to include:

What retailer did you purchase it through?
Where is the retailer located?
Did you pre-order? (Just want to make sure people understood the conditions.)

I preordered through Gamestop, at store #2780 (Charlotte, NC).
I did, in fact, preorder

The guys at the store said that they may not have unpacked it yet, but I have a suspicion that someone at their shipping hub just forgot to toss in the book since there was only one preorder at that store. If it turns out otherwise, I'll edit this saying as much.

Edit: I'm still waiting on an update. Apparently there's some game called Wrath of the Lich King coming out at midnight that's causing the store to be much more crowded than usual

I preordered from the second floor Gamestop in the Paramus park mall Paramus, NJ. They only had ONE copy of Eternal Poison for sale and said they did not have the art book. I left my information and almost 15 minutes later got the call that it was at the bottom of the box.

Apparently there was an error in their shipment which meant that according to them the area I live in only had 10 copies of this game across all its EB/GS stores! DAMN rarez.

Mine is a little bit of a story. Was the only one who preordered and did receive my book but it was a bit damaged (and of course didnt have any others to trade with). the front cover has been scuffed pretty bad (white marks aka the cover art color being torn out) snuffs all over the side, and multiple bends all over. I was wondering if I could receive a good copy of the art book as I am a major collector of atlus games and bonuses (among other things atlus *cough*social link expanion pack *cough*) and willing to ship my damaged copy back for a trade. Just want a legit good copy to store for the future

Thank you for making this, chibilemonchan! I just got home from purchasing the game, and was just about to write you guys.

Anyway, I purchased the only copy (my reserve

I got lucky and called them 10 minutes after the UPS guy had dropped off their stuff; when the guy told me my reserve was there, I asked him if there was an art book, which was a pre-order bonus...he said no, just that the game came with a soundtrack (*sigh*). He told me he'd track one down for me (there's two EBs/GameStops conveniently place in the mall, not far from each other), so after I hung up and arrived to pick up my copy, I asked him about the art book--he called the other guys and the guy on my end said, "Great, so we didn't get any, huh?" Apparently, only one person also reserved it at the other GameStop (smart person).

Well, at least I got a nice guy

I like that he actually tried to get one for me.

I got the ASM at the store I preordered through to check their shipping manifest, and the artbook was not listed on it, nor does it show up in their computer. He said that two managers from other stores will be in tonight for the WotLK launch and he'll see if they got any, otherwise they'll call their distrubution center.

Should this not turn out in my favor, would there be a way for me (or any of us, really) to receive an artbook from Atlus directly?

I preordered Eternal Poison from gamestop in Bryant, Arkansas not sure of the store number.

I picked it up today.
I did not receive my artbook. The clerks said that it might not have arrived because they only received one copy of the game and that it should be on their truck tomorrow. (I hope so.)

I'm sure most of us have made our voices heard on extras we deserve (I do, anyway), but the problem here is that some stores only seemed to get the game only, unfortunately. ^ Where did you pre-order?

Aaaand another update. I got a call from Gamestop shortly before they closed informing me they'd found my art book. So I guess this turned out alright for me.

I just picked up my game from the local GameCrazy. They didn't have the artbook but they said sometimes they ship at different times than the game and that as soon as they get it in I'd get one. So hopefully that's the case.

i did not get my Art book but i am going back Gamestop to see if they might have then beacuse when i went go pick-up my game they had no idea lol (it seems newish workers where working at the time i pick-up my copy lol) but i am willing let it silde as long i get my soundTrack with the game i am goood lol

I picked mine up today just as they got the order in, they didnt even get the chance to put a price sticker on it.

However, I had to ask for the artbook spefically because they had them shipped in a seperate box from the game itself. So, if they try to hand you one without the book, first ask them to search the stock or hold one if they get another shipment in. Maybe you'll get lucky ^^;

Heya guys, I was also one of those unfortunate souls that did not get this lucious little artbook.

Saaaaaad... I wanted to support the game and Atlus, so, I preordered this but as of yet I have not gotten my money's worth and am a tad miffed. Gamestop 'claims' they never received the pre-order bonus for this game and so, they point the blame at the developer. A Gamestop employee suggested that I call Atlus' customer service and get the book that way, so, I think I'll follow his advice. Hope the whole lot of you get your needs met in the end.

I pre-ordered awhile back too and didn't receive my book. What's weird is that when I did pre-order they didn't mention anything about the artbook, just the soundtrack. :\

Did your .ca preorder already ship? Mine is saying it'll ship in a week... I hope I'm not getting a second shipment, or if I am I hope it's still coming with the book. But I can't help but notice .com has removed the *Bonus Offer*, and unlike .ca they have the game in stock.
