Oh, childish Nintendo hate. Say what you wish, I play my Wii every day and I'm a core gamer that's been around since the NES days. Oh, ignorant little children and unintelligent shooter fans will say everything these days...
Well anyway, I'm mostly looking forward to Trauma Team. The Trauma Center games were freaking awesome.

Did you even read the thread? No one here is hating on Nintendo, people are just saying that the games on it does not appeal to them. I don't see how that makes them little children and "unintelligent". A lot of us are easy going here, and it's a somewhat rare that insults are tossed around here.
There are definitely a few great titles on the platform, however they are released far and few, thus why many have either said their Wii just sits there, or they sold it.

It sucks that Atlus or another publisher have yet to localize the first Growlanser. I know it's not the most popular series, but I imagine it would sell better than 33-50% of their other releases... I mean, could it seriously not outperform the latest Bumpy Trot game??? Oh well, at least I'll have 101 In 1 Megamix instead... YAAAAAAAAAAAAY.

Elminage for the DS for the win!
While The Dark Spire was Okay, I found it dissapointing.
And I dunno..... Death Smiles xbox360.

Even if Atlus USA were to close it's doors today (HEAVEN FORBID!), I'm sitting at around 50 Atlus games, of which I've probably played a tenth... That would probably last me for a year or two of straight gaming with only those games.

You know, I just noticed that the "Coming Soon" category here on the forums only has 4 games. The last time I looked at that, there was something like 8 games.
Demon's Souls comes out in little over a week.
Kenka Bancho is slated for Nov. 10th. 2009
Trauma team is due in May 2010
and Shiren is due in April. 2010
That's nearly a 5 month gap of nothing being released by Atlus. Seriously... something is up. I wonder if its due to the crazy amount of handheld games they released earlier in the year. What was that... like 8 DS titles and 2-3 PSP games? Kinda seems like they sucked their budget dry. Of course that could be related to Demon's Souls, and the fact that it's a PS3 game.

I have to agree with this. However, at the moment, handhelds are just so damn appealing to me. Case and point:
List of Completed Games (I don't have a PS3):
Wii:
Trauma Center: New Blood (Sorry, Second Opinion!)
Lit
FF CC: My Life as a King
Muramasa (well, almost)
Rune Factory: Frontier
360:
Phantasy Star Universe (LOL)
Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (+Expansion)
Puzzle Quest: Galactrix
The Last Remnant
Infinite Undiscovery
BlazBlue
Star Ocean: The Last Hope
Rez HD
Ikaruga
PSP:
Riviera: The Promised Land
Yggdra Union
Star Ocean: First Departure
Star Ocean: Second Evolution
Holy Invasion of Privacy, Bad Man!
GG XX AC+ (Story Mode)
Fate/Unlimited Codes (All Arcade + Most Missions)
Wild Arms XF
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of The Lions
Patapon
Patapon 2
Echochrome
Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology
Class of Heroes
Mana Khemia: Students of Al-Revis
Innocent Life: A Futuristic Harvest Moon
DS:
Etrian Odyssey
Etrain Odyssey II
Trauma Center: UtK (Before I knew anything about ATLUS. Hardest game to find. EVER.)
Trauma Center: UtK 2
The Dark Spire
Ys: Books I & II
Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon
Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon
Harvest Moon DS
Harvest Moon DS: Island of Happiness
Lux-Pain
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations

Spoiler: Atlus localizes Tokimeki Memorial 1 for the PSP. I can dream.
I'd ask for more Wii games, but I can't think of any JPN games that I'd like brought over here. Developers don't seem to be making that many original games for the system. I haven't touched my Wii since Tenchu 4 and Madworld was released. I want to trade it in for a 360, but MH3 is hitting the US in the Spring...

The DS and PSP have the largest RPG libraries this generation. The increased cost of development for current-gen home consoles means games by smaller developers and games with original ideas will hit those platforms first. I love my PS3, but my PSP and DS are my consoles of choice.
That said... might I suggest Tokimeki Memorial for real, or at least Shining Force Feather? I would also suggest Sigma Harmonics and Blood of Bahamut, but SE seems like they wouldn't play ball.

Sounds like we need some announcements, stat.
What might be on the way? Speculation?

I had been hoping for some TGS announcements.
Pretty disappointing.

YES. Shining Force Feather please. I've wanted that game since I saw it at TGS last year.

I echo all of the above! lol
I really wish there were more dating sim games in English. My main source of dating sims are H-games, which in most cases are not very good, and full of text errors. Yume Miru Kusuri was a good one, especially with Ayeka's path.

Here's hoping for some more announcements. Because honestly, I have no interest in the games they have announced so far.

P.S, ya'll forgot about Shiren.

Yea, I'm looking foward to that game. How well designed are the systems in that game, are they simular to the Torneko games(DQ4 spinoff series) or what?
PS. Ditto on what the other person said, I'm just basically spending this time buying the games I missed out on.

Demon's Souls is really just a culmination of a lot of other RPGs and dungeon-based action games that have gone before it and it abides by them fairly well. Its a good game, hard and fair about its difficulty.
It doesn't mean all other RPGs are out-of-style. I'm glad you've played your first really hard RPG, really, I am. But people are allowed to like what they like. I can like both the Persona series and Demon's Souls and you will not suffer in the slightest from it, trust me.
