Anyone else excited?
I realize that there hasn't been much of the game shown so far, or anything, but I don't see that much excitement for this game yet!
Honestly, I just have to say, so far what I've seen looks excellent. I love the new "comic book-style" of animation being used to portray the story. The characters seem like they'll have all the depth we've come to know and love from Trauma Center, except without the name Trauma Center on it.
Completely a "day 1" game for me, but I am wondering if anyone else is hyped for this? If you're not, you should be!

Glad to see at least someone else is...
It's an overlooked game in a sea of other overlooked games. ^^;

I love the series and especially the music, but I don't have a Wii, so it's hard to get hyped. I am glad that the series will keep going on though!

I'm a fan of the series. Finished all Trauma Center and did even the X missions.
I really hope that this game will be great, but I still ain't that excited about it.
The new gameplay looks great, but I'm not 100% confident. I'm more 80% confident about it.
I just hope the main storyline to get a LOT bigger. I rent the first two TC for the Wii (2-3 days) and it was enough to finish even the X missions.
The game just need more replay.

Even though I've finished the games numerous times, I can't really say I've grown bored of them. So it's definitely more of that style of gameplay that I'm after here. There are even possibilities for a Dr. Stiles cameo in this, since it's definitely in the same 'world', especially since Naomi is present. I do wonder where precisely it falls on the timeline, though... I'd imagine post UtK2, but pre New Blood.
... and despite my love for the games, I've only been able to complete a few operations with an XS ranking. ^^; I seem to be good at the quirky ones. Like both versions of "An Explosive Patient". And "Caduceus on a Plane/Miracle at 9,800 Feet". And another one would be the first time Derek used the Healing Touch, which was the one where the patient starts off with no heartbeat, and there is a lot of glass to remove... unfortunately, I forget the name of that operation...
Obviously there are others, but those were some standouts for me. Those and Onyx... that is a fun one... :3

By the looks of Naomi in this new game, she seems a lot older already.
In Second Opinion Stiles and Naomi seemed to be nearly the same age.
Stiles then shows up in New Blood, but he's not that old.
I think this new game will be many years in the future, after New Blood.

Despite not getting into the first Wii one (couldn't get used to the controls), I think I'm going to give this game a shot. Hopefully I can get used to the controls haha. The original Trauma Center was pretty damn enjoyable, so I look forward to at least playing Trauma Team.

I cannot wait for this game. I hope they produce a clothing patch with the Caduceus logo like I suggested to the team working at AX this year, and I hope they get more sales on this game - it's one of my favorite game series.
This is like... if my boss does a midnight release (I work at a game store), or gets a copy before the shipping date, I'll wait until midnight for it and start playing it at like 1:00AM, even if I have class the next morning.
I'm most looking forward to the diagnostic portion... I hope some of the missions are seriously hard (I'm a huge House fan).
Otherwise, I like how they added somewhat of a triage element for the paramedic. Having an EMT-B cert myself, I love the idea of having to manage multiple patients. : )

I think the Wii kills my interest in this game.
I loved Trauma Center: Second Opinion, but the furniture/lighting in my living room makes it impossible for me to play any precise pointer-based games because of the crazy amount of infrared interference. Even in the Wii home menu the pointer bounces around like a kid on a sugar high, and I didn't bother with New Blood for that very reason.
It's too bad that the DS series isn't getting enough attention to justify further sequels. I'd personally much prefer to play the games on that.

Aww. Well, I don't have any advice on the furniture thing. But that really sucks.
And I will say, that in no way is the DS series "not getting enough attention"... they're pretty much alternating. If you consider Second Opinion as a remake, then the order is Utk(DS) > New Blood(Wii) > UtK2(DS) > Trauma Team(Wii). Now obviously, Second Opinion is a remake in the loose sense that the first five chapters were the same, but obviously there are the Z missions and the completely different sixth chapter.
I figure if they were to make another Trauma Center game after, that it would be for DS. Personally, I don't mind if the games are on Wii or DS, but I have both easily available and useable without interference...

By "not enough attention" I mean from consumers. Trauma Center 2 bombed hard--less than 1/4 of the sales the original got.

I've never played a game in the series, but I'm positive I'll pick this one up, the videos make it look interesting.

I haven't really been coming around here much lately, but I see that I haven't missed a whole lot. ^^;
Still looking forward to this game, though. :3
Thankfully I have enough to play in the meantime. :3

I'm kind of excited about playing it, if only to see whether one can save Dr. Naomi or not. ^^

I played this game on DS. Sadly I easily got tired of it. At first I was so into it. Then after a few days of playing I got tired and stopped.

I'm definitely looking forward to it. Granted in each of the previous games there was one strain of Guilt//Stigma that I was horrible at so I couldn't finish it to completion (I still cannot do Triti) Glad to see they are moving away from the over the top, miracle working, wonder boy doctor set up and splitting up the different jobs. Can't wait to see how it works out.

I guess the only solutions would be to play with the sensitivity settings in the menu, or to move lights and stuff. You sure you're not too close or too far from the screen?

Ugh, Triti. That one was so horrible until I figured out the trick to it. You have to work quickly in a diagonal direction. That way it'll have no more room to expand and you can kill it. It's hard to explain fully, Google it. Or if you're seriously stuck, just Healing Touch and swipe it all up.
Well anyway, so looking forward to this game. They fixed pretty much everything that was wrong with the rest of the series. Timer: Stupid idea. "This patient is completely cured and now all I have to do is put on the bandage and-- OMG TIME'S UP YOU LOSE. What? " Taken out. Great. All of that magical diseases crud (like Triti!) and healing stars and stuff: taken out, and replaced with actual variety. Excellent. On top of that add more main characters for a wider storyline, improved cutscene style, improved graphics, and did I mention variety? Lots more variety.
Also, to celebrate I made this Trauma Team skin in the very customizable PhanTim3 ("Fan Time").
Download PhanTim3 with my custom skin here.
