Atlus' Atlus-O-Weenie costume contest nears the finish line,fan voting to ends Friday

ATLUS' ATLUS-O-WEENIE COSTUME CONTEST NEARS THE FINISH LINE, FAN VOTING TO END ON FRIDAY

IRVINE, CA -- NOVEMBER 5, 2009 -- Atlus U.S.A. Inc. today announced that all eligible entries have been posted to their Facebook page for Atlus-O-Weenie 2009, an annual Halloween contest where fans submit a photo of themselves as a character from an Atlus game. Atlus encouraged fans via Twitter (@AtlusUSA) and Facebook (http://www.atlus.com/facebook) to vote before the 12:00pm PST deadline on Friday, November 6, 2009. Fans can vote by joining the Atlus Facebook page and "liking" their favorite submissions.

"We're really excited to see who will win the popular vote," said Crystal Murray, Public Relations Specialist at Atlus. "There are so many amazing costumes. Our fans did such a great job of portraying their favorite characters! It's going to be really tough to choose the Atlus favorite," she added.

Fans dressed up like their favorite characters from a variety of Atlus games including the Shin Megami Tensei games, Odin Sphere, the Summon Night games, Magna Carta: Tears of Blood, and more. Prize packages of excellent swag will be given out to the fan favorite, an Atlus favorite and four random winners.

The Grand Prize Fan Favorite winner will recieve:
- Demon's Souls Deluxe Edition PLUS Bonus Artbook/Music CD
- Demon's Souls Large Poster (3.5 feet wide X 4 feet tall)
- Demon's Souls Mini Poster signed by Takeshi Kajii (producer of Demon's Souls)
- Droplitz Downloadable Game Code for PlayStation®Network OR Xbox Live Arcade
