Aside from ebaying or other online listings? Don't think there's much hope aside from those options at this point.
Atlus USA hasn't given any official responses regarding this artbook in months and it seems unlikely they'll respond anytime soon. If you really want the artbook your best bet now is to procure one through ebay, there are a few at around $30 including shipping and most are buy it nows.
I haven't seen anyone with any success with amazon.ca in trying to get their artbook so far, so keep trying if you want.
There's no doubt Atlus is pretty awesome for their work and dedication to their fans. But when there's nothing to go on it's hard to see how much they care. A simple post about whether this issue is still of any concern to Atlus USA would suffice to most and bring some closure as well.

And before Kaki threatens to close this topic or whatever,

Knock it off dude. That was uncalled for. The only time I did so is when people got unnecessarily riled up and became irrational / uncivil.

Not sure if anyone cares, but it turns out my Gamestop still had both the Eternal Poison and Luminous Arc artbooks and the Chrono Trigger CD, so I'm set.

Well, I finally heard from Amazon.ca and, according to them
"Greetings from Amazon.ca.
I am sorry for any misunderstanding but the "Eternal Poison" game is just a standard PS2 video game. It is a double disk game but there is no art book that was scheduled to be delivered with that game, just the standard instructions."
So, Amazon.ca are officially retarded douchebags...
Oh, and I can't even show them proof via e-mail because all their e-mails sent out are with a no-reply@amazon.ca address, so I can't reply to the exact information they sent.
Man, what the hell. Customer service MY ASS.

You probably should have chosen to split up the shipments.
|
The shipments for the games my Mum ordered me from Amazon.ca were split up and I still received the artbooks for P4 and Luminous Arc 2 but not for Eternal poison.
It seems they received very few books, or their distribution staff were heavily misinformed (as my previous post kinda points towards).
I'm thinking I'll have to buy the book.
Hell, if Atlus were to offer them for sale at a cheap price I'd buy it.
Man, I'd even just like to know what Atlus THINKS happened here...

I thought I'd revisit this thread, as it seems to be the main one.
Eternal Poison
I preordered somewhat late on this game, and was told they never received an artbook - however, around the time I went to pick up the game, the person who answered my confirmation call told me that the 'other' Gamestop received the artbook. They had to send an employee to pick it up from the other store... by the time it got in my hands, it was pretty damage.
Luminous Arc 2
I preordered this game the day I picked up Eternal Poison, only because they managed to at least get the artbook into my hands. When I went to pick up the game, they said they gave out all the artbooks to people who preordered the week before (which was around the time I preordered). They basically said they had no more.
Persona 4
I preordered this the day I went to pick up Luminous Arc 2 - yes, it's pretty late for this too, but I was skeptical with all the prior issues. I called them the week before the game was released, and they said that not that many people preordered from them, and that I should be getting it. But when it came time to pick up the game - they told me they gave them all out already, and that they didn't receive as many as the people who preordered. Now, I went on the day they received the shipment, and the boxes where still there - it's somewhat suspicious. So I ended up holding off on buying the game; I went somewhere else.
Someone mentioned a idea, where Atlus could directly sell the artbooks or something - and I wouldn't mind paying for shipping or even purchasing the artbooks for say $5 directly. I'd even get an EP artbook, because the damage on the 1 I eventually got is horrid... I actually wouldn't mind sending $20 or so, just to get all 3 book artbooks shipped to me at the same time.

It is unfortunate how GameStop so often doesn't give you pre-order bonuses. Several times I have gone to pick up a game and asked for my pre-order bonus, only to have them tell me they don't know what I'm talking about. Then later I'll go back in and ask someone else and, suprise, they had it in a drawer the whole time.
BTW, I didn't ever recieve an Eternal Poison artbook. Actually, I didn't know I was supposed to get one with my pre-order. I was too excited about the soundtrack.
