I'll be getting it for the Xbox 360 because I don't own a PS3 and besides I prefer K-Katherine's cover over C-Catherine's PS3 one anyways.

I already posted this in another thread, but what the hell, I'll repeat myself.
360 for me. I felt it was more important to support the mulit-plat decision than to go with my cover art preference.

Both. I like the 360 cover art more but something tells me the ps3 version will see more play.

Canceled the 360 preorder - everything I've read says the games are essetnially the same except that the 360 version has compressed videos.

From what I've read, PS3's cutscenes look slightly better while the 360 version runs slightly smoother.

Not sure about the retail version but in the demo, both versions' performance appears to be pretty solid, so I'm not sure which version performs better but the differences are probably too small to matter. The macroblocking artifacts that appear on the fast action parts of the Xbox 360 version's animated scenes are pretty noticeable, however. I think that this is probably because Atlus, like many devs out there, uses the ancient Bink codec for the animated part, Sony's PAMF would have done a better job. Bink usually requires large amount of bandwidth to achieve acceptable quality, so while the PS3 version shouldn't have any problem with the Blu-ray Disc's excessive space (heck, maybe the PS3 animated scene was done using lossless encode instead of Bink who knows, it has so much space to spare) but the DVD's limited storage would pose a problem.
It should be noted that since the PS3 version of Catherine uses QAA, the overall in-game graphics will look softer compare to Xbox 360 version. Because Xbox 360 version uses 2xMSAA, it effectively smooths out edges while still retains the sharpness of the overall textures, while the PS3 version's QAA blurs out the whole image to smooth out the edges, so textures will suffer because of this, and the result being that they won't look as sharp when compare to Xbox 360 version. However, based on what I have seen from demo, the textures don't seem to have suffered the side effects of QAA as much as one would usually expect (I have seen worse cases of QAA in the past.)

Hm. I didn't think of that. Unfortunately, as a member of the elite European contingent I have to get the PS3 version

Another reason why the PS3 version may outsell the 360 one -just like in Japan! But let's not debate this.
I'm going for the PS3 game, hombre. Katherine's pose caught more my attention, but it's something I don't really mind unless I had a big poster of it (something I wouldn't put on a wall, though).

After comparing the 360 with the ps3 demos..... they are exastly the same except the controls suck on 360.

I'll probably get both...eventually. But for right now, I'm just getting the PS3 version.
Actually...it's coming out near one of my brother's birthdays, and he might like it...and he does have a 360. I'll ask him to look into it and tell me if it's something he's interested in.

I do have a 360 but it's not mine. I also have a ps3, that's also not mine.
360 - Roomie will be playing shooters all day and hog it up.
Ps3 -Boyfriend will be playing it since it's his, but he'll watch so long as I don't deny him his MVC3 (We just ordered an Imported version of the game to get here in a few days, we're excite since he's pretty fluent in Japanese and it gives him practice~)

That's actually what I was planning on doing down the road as well anyway.

Same. Eventually.
But if you were only able to choose one, then PS3. I'd buy online games on 360, because of the community, but I would prefer to have a higher end disc if it is a single player experience. Both PS3 and 360 versions retail at the same price tag, but you're getting a blu-ray disc over a DVD disc. Personally, I prefer the blu-ray disc.

Here's a helpful link for those of you still deciding. Personally, I'd like to play this again on my PS3, but seeing as how I've already imported a copy on PS3 a while ago, 360 seems to be the way to go. Plus Kathy ftw.

Guys, really excellent deal on the Deluxe Edition:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...tpbetterand-20
It's $20 off. There's also a really good deal on the standard, which is $15 off.
This applies to both Xbox and PS3.

I bought the PS3 edition too quickly, should have waited for the deluxe edition to appear on the shelves of another store. Oh well..
I guess I saved $20.

I own both consoles but I'm going with PS3 since all ATLUS games and games by the Persona team should be played on the Playstation 3. >:3

I personally got both.
I must admit I originally got it for the PS3 due to the more attractive cover art , but I ended up enjoying the game so much more than I expected that I felt it was a worthy enough game that I should own it on the x-box 360 too.

I only have a Xbox 360, so I naturally got the game for that system. I still recommend the PS3 version because the D-pad is better suited for the game.

I own two copies of this game...two playstation 3 copies. I traded in a bunch of games I didn't like so I got a brand new Catherine for free, but that was the normal version I still wanted the Love is Over Deluxe Edition so I ordered it online last month.
I'll try to get the XBOX 360 edition in the future too. Why? Because I love you Atlus, even if you never put your game boxes and manuals in spanish and your titles are a pain in the neck to find in my country you're still my favorite gaming company

I prefer it on the PS3 more than 360. I preferred to play using the d pad instead of the analog stick and it felt a lot more comfortable. That's about my only reason, haha. Other than that, the game's still amazing!
