This game was good times for sure. Since the servers are going down at the end of the months I plan on making a come back and at least playing through a couple more times with each of the characters I still have access to. Hope to see some of the other original names coming back as well for one more go

Lets give the game one hell of a glorious send off. Not like any of us are likely to forget it.

Hey guys! I am trying for a "perfect" file before the servers go down and I just messed up due to being overly tired! Is anyone around level 188 that could give me a Dragonbone Smasher and/or the Monk's Head Collar? If you're willing to get to around 188 and allow me to be summoned into your Monk fight and then also allow me to kill you, that would also work. The collar is the only item we will be unable to get without online multiplayer and, like I said, I'm going for a "perfect file."

There will be a lot more than the Monk Collar that we cannot get in the game depending on if it gets left in Black or White Tendency. I want Black, but it look like White is going to win unless the Black gets the vote out tomorrow. No kool black phantom fights and kool drops like Miralda Executioner Axe etc if it ends white tendency

Won't the tendency just go neutral and act normally once the servers are shut down? If not, then that's pretty lame. I would have stayed offline and allowed my tendency to change normally if that is, in fact, the case.

No, you have to be online for some mobs to spawn and your Tendency will change depending on what you do like killing another player or helping another player kill a boss etc. Those things can never happen single player. (although you can change Tendency doing things offline like killing certain NPCs etc.) So they can leave the game all black or all white. I think all Black is much more fun due to having a lot of black phantoms and better enemies spawn with better drops/loot. You cannot get everything in game in offline mode. Can anyone list or link to a list of things you can't get offline if what phycho says is right? I'd like to grab any of it while I still can is so. And to the comment by DaveKap about finding his copy of another country's version of the game, is there some way like that I could still get online on this somehow after this month? Which brings me to thinking, if other places are still going to have access why must we be the only ones getting screwed?

If he is right... which I don't see how he could be, all the world tendency phantoms and items would be gone, a lot of the white world stuff is necessary if you want to get the platinum trophy. However, after every "tendency event" in the past, the game would go back to acting how it normally would online or off. When the server goes offline, manipulating world tendency will still be fairly easy (three body form suicides in a level for pure black or defeating all three demons within a given level without dying for pure white). Character tendency (for friend and foe's rings) will become harder to manipulate. I've actually also found my character tendency to remain neutral throughout a "tendency event" and would return to normal after said event. As far as "online only" items, there is only one, the aforementioned Monk's Head Collar. If you'd like to help me out, we could make sure we get that item before the server shuts down and you could help me get that pesky Dragon Bone Smasher. I also have a lot of the stones necessary for making the trophy weapons, if you need any of those. =)

Ok, I should be good then. I got the Monk's Head Collar already. I'd be glad to help you get those two. Just spent the night trying to get that Bone Smasher myself, actually. I was glad it was close to the fog gate.. XD Anyway, my character is lvl93.

As for stones I've not quite sure off hand what I need or don't have. Stone wise anyway, haven't done any of the trophies yet. I've been more worried about just doing a lot of multiplayer whilst I can. I have been thinking that I need to go through and see what I have and what all I can make and am missing though.

I am having problems with the third demon fool's idol I have beaten her and went to the altar where there is to be a cut scene but Im not getting any cut scene so how do i get upstairs? thanks

I only started playing this in April once I heard that the servers were going down, and I'm loving it! However, I just can't seem to get a few pure upgrade materials!

I'm looking for a pure clearstone (I messed up with Ostrava in 1-3), a pure bladestone (isn't everyone?), and a pure darkmoonstone. It would also be cool to get a Monk's Head Collar, but I'm more concerned about those three pure materials.

I'm sl94, can anyone help me out? I've got some other pure materials I'd be cool with trading! My PSN ID is NecrosTerminus, so message me if you would be willing to help. Thank you!

Small parts of it, but I have places to go so most of my time will be in the evening. Not all as late as I said in the first post though. I should be on for a lot of the day on Sunday though.

My main character is on NG+ after beat Phalanx ,then i stopped for a few months only to log in yesterday..Holy Mother! Black Phantoms before Tower Knight,and other places..
Then i tried making a new chara with another account..Black Phantoms on that too on Normal,lol.
I shall miss Demons Souls a lot,never did Co Op or much PVP but did on Dark Souls.

I'm pumped to hear that the servers are staying up for the foreseeable future! I've recently been slowly working my way through this game. Glad to see I'll still be able to play online next month after I'm finished with/taking a break from Dragon's Dogma.
