Will we ever see a Nocturne remake or re-release?
Today we got PERSONA 3 FES on PS Store which is AMAZING but we got P3P less than a year ago if Im not mistaken. Everyone knows Persona 3 because it was REALLY popular but how about Digital Devil Saga and Nocturne which were also AMAZING games?
I still have my Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2 games on disc... and I swear every time I look at them I shed a tear because I cant play them on my slim ps3 T_T

Digital Devil Saga 1 & 2 are in the European PSN, looking at what you said, it seems that is not in the US one. Nocturne was the best main SMT I ever played, I gotta say that the plot was very mature.
I hope Atlus can put those two games into the US PSN...... I know, I'm from Argentina... I can't get those if they are released in th PSN T-T

Even if you make one, you wouldn't get the games since you don't have an EU PSN Card... except if you have a credit card... if you have one, can you lend it to me so I can get my games in the US one? XD.
Anyway, if EU have DDS 1 and 2, I think it will be soon when the US gets them, I mean, EU gets what US does, right?

Would be nice if that was the case, but that isn't always true.

Hopefully they'll come to our PSN too, I'd love to give Atlus my money for 'em and get more people to buy them too.

Well, hopefully P3FES and DDS(if localized) on the PSN make serious bank, then hopefully SMT III will follow.

Even if Digital Devil Saga was a really beautiful game in the story, I would prefer Nocturne...
There are people here in my country that uses the PSN of the US, since we don't have a PSN of our own (although, I don't remember where, but I read that we're getting one soon... I think because of a Killzone game or whatever). Even in my favorite store they sell the US PSN Cards... they get out of stock pretty quickly -_-... it's embarassing.

Wow, it's cool that you use the US PSN though... but yeah, I'm really hoping for Nocturne too, just because it would be easier to get people to play it with a cheaper price tag, haha.

Man I will love to have Nocturne as digital download on PSN, would give me a great excuse to start a New Game + on Hard Mode.

Nocturne already had a remake some years back in Japan. Instead of Dante's cameo appearance, Kuzunoha Raidou replaces him. It never got localized in North America though. As for re-release, I doubt it considering that DDS never made it to the North American PSN, even though its available in the Japanese PSN. For the matter, do not keep your hopes too high up.. Sorry..

... How do you think we manage to use it? In a registration... what does the PSN asks you to put? I'll give you a hint: ADRESS.
Try to figure out the rest -_-

Yeah but DDS 1 and 2 are now making it to the PAL PSN Store and Persona 3:FES is coming to the NA one, I think that on the whole Nocturne has more chances of being released digitally than other obscure JRPGs.

I'd love to have that Nocturne with Kuzunoha Raidou. I'd love to see Nocturne brought to PSN.

If it's the Raidou version I'd be pretty happy. Otherwise I'm the only person on this planet that just didn't care for P3 or Nocturne. I liked P4 and DDS better. :/ But they were good games, just not my preferred ones.

Can't wait to see DDS 1 and 2 on PSN so I can buy them and retire my physical copies to the safe for safe keeping. Nocturne I would love in one of two ways. 1 if it gets a PSN release I would buy no problem or 2 I would love to have it on Vita so I can play it anytime. I have this inkling feeling that the PS2 classics will somehow be able to work on the vita in the future.

Just realized you can't use saves from PS2 memory cards on Digital PS2 games from the PS Store, luckily before I bought P3:FES, a damn bummer really. Isn't part of the appeal of SMT DDS1 and 2 that you could use the save of the former in the latter to affect some aspects of the game? plus a big appeal of most SMT games, at least for me has always been New Game+, all in all not so excited about these releases anymore.

I refuse to support PS2 Classics until either Sony revises the horrible emulation or implements Vita support for PS2 Classics. The treatment PS2 Classics get is awful and I'm amazed at people who'd just accept Sony's halfassed efforts.
They took away better emulation in the original BC model and replaced it with no BC, made us wait years for any solution or alternative, shine up a few first party efforts for HD release and take a big, fat dump on the third party titles people loved.
P3 FES deserved better, thankfully it has a better PSP version. Nocturne deserves better - be it a Vita or 3DS enhanced port/remake or HD Version. If I'm just going to get less than that, I'll stick with my PS2 copy.

@Foobar.
You make a very valuable point there. I rather buy a PS2 and a physical copy of the game than a scam made by Sony to make money, anyday.

Note to self is to always scroll down and read more post before going butt wild crazy excited. That being said and done, how bad are the PS2 classics?

Unlike original PS2 BC on PS3, PS2 Classics don't upscale. They take the SD resolution stretch it across 720p. I got a headache just trying to adjust to Odin Sphere. This could have been rectified if the emulation had options to resize the image like you can with PSOne Classics on PSP but sadly there's no such option in PS2 Classics.
For whatever reason just plugging your PS2 in your HDTV fares slightly better. Even with a/v cables. I'm just going to look into an upscaler until Sony wises up and adds compatibility with Vita for PS2 classics.

Dang that sounds terrible. I think what makes it worse is that it could of just been left the way it was from what you are describing. It seems as if they decided to maybe make it look like they put some work into it by stretching it out of proportion when they could of just not put work into it leaving it the way it was. Which sounds so much better.
