Yes, Guilty Crown was terrible. It's getting a visual novel DarkRPGMaster but I don't care. Good riddance. The second season of Fate/Zero should be coming soon.

I actually enjoyed the series, but there were way too many moments where it felt like the series would have been better off as a 50 episode series, as the pacing would probably have felt better, and things could have been more fleshed out than they were. From what I heard, the Guilty Crown VN Lost Christmas actually does that well.

I feel guilty for watching Mysterious Girlfriend X. And a lil' freaked out at the fetish involved. Yet.. I kinda wanna see where it goes, its not very often that you get to see the two main characters swap spit in the first episode.

I ended up watching the first episode of Eureka Seven Ao. It's starting off with a close resemblance to the original Eureka Seven on how it is prioritizing the characters over the mecha. In fact, I saw no mecha the first episode, which confirms that they're staying true to roots on how they're going to handle the story.
That reminds me, how did you feel about Guilty Crown, VJ?

Just watched the 2nd episode of Eureka Seven AO. It's REALLY giving me the same feeling as the original series, and when the action came, it CAME fast and hard. I may find that this will be a worthy successor of the Eureka Seven name.

I have the Eureka Seven movie and I thought it was terrible. It's strange because people are saying that the new series is good yet it's continuing the bad movie.
In other news, "Her name is Koko she is loco, I said oh no."

Actually, it's hard to tell WHAT it's continuing. No reference to the movie so far, and it's being vague enough with its relationship to the other parts of the Eureka Seven universe that it could very well be alternate universe.

I... I loved the movie. D: I thought it was just plain enjoyable on its own. I watched it once in moonlanguage and went to go see it again in theaters. Ao is pretty fantastic so far, still.

New series has nothing to do with the movie. The Movie was based in an Alternate Universe, so there were some differences in the world, and the characters. The new series is more like they decided to start over from scratch and try something different.
If I had to compare the idea I'd say its like the 2nd season of Negima, where they just started over.

Now I rem. Guilty Crown, only watched the first episode though. It seemed kinda interesting. I'd rather finish watching Toaru Majutsu no Index sometime though. Already finished Railgun.

This. Also, Fate/Zero.
I really should get to watching Eureka Seven Ao as well. I'm wondering what they're doing with the Okinawa setting.

I got to see the first four episodes of Shiki at an anime convention over the weekend. It's pretty cool so far. It's a horror show where people in a small town are mysteriously dying of things that look like anemia or kidney failure, but the town doctor isn't sure what's causing those things to happen. My guess is the creepy couple that moved into the castle they had built in the small town. It was intriguing enough, and the intro episode was interesting as the girl they made a big star in the episode is the first victem, lol. (I don't count it a spoiler if it happens in the first episode, sorry.)

So Space Brothers is also pretty good. It's a good mix of plot, character development, and humor. But then again, I'm a sucker for space stuff. I can't tell you how many times I've been to the Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville. In fact, we once took a road trip to Florida to watch a space shuttle launch.

Finished off the Ghost in the Shell series last night and while the ending was ok, I was somehow bored with it. Started watching Soul Eaters. Looks decent so far.

Might be my favorite opening this season. The rainbows out his nose get me every time.

I dunno what to make of Hyouka. I can't even tell what it's about. It's kinda boring, but they keep dropping hints that the female lead might be an alien or something.
Also, I can't stand the main character. He's aggressively unsociable in that rude sort of way that I thought only my brother was capable of. By which I mean, he's an asshole.
And why is everything so brown?

Kids on the Slope.
IT'S SO GOOD.
Especially as a musician, this thing has me wriggling in my chair.

It's basically Haruhi. The girl is a Manic Pixie Dream Girl and the main character is Kyon.

I called it a while back, anime of the season. Although I'm also really enjoying Space Brothers.

Except it's not. It's basically Haruhi, but boring. The girl is just really curious (and has a sensitive nose,) and the main character is not so much Kyon as he is an asshole.
They've done a pretty good job on the visuals so far, at least. Episode 3 was a disappointment, but there was some really clever stuff to it. Like the clock in the background skipping a beat when the main character thought he was going to be confessed to.

Kids on the Slope ep 5 yesterday.
Don't know what else to say. This anime is Code S. The quality and execution is unparalleled. Not to mention, as a character driven drama-comedy-music-whatever show, they are really awesome about presenting character feelings up-front rather than waiting 21 episodes like a normal anime might do.

Well, I did like Haruhi more than Hyouka, but the similarities are definitely there. The main character of Hyouka doesn't really seem like an asshole to me, though. He at least humors the annoying female lead and is trying to help her with the uncle issue. Both he and Kyon act like they dislike putting up with the female lead, but they enjoy it.

^Honestly, a good chunk of my dislike for the lead is that he reminds me of my brother. Who is an asshole.

I just finished watching Nichijou. It was pretty damn good, but now my mom thinks I'm a weirdo because I would have this grin on my face when watching it on my computer. Not a single character was unlikable... but Nakamura was a little creepy.
My favorite parts usually involved the girls or Takasaki and his crush on Sakurai. I agreed with him though that Sakurai was pretty cute.
This was quite a break from the drama filled anime I'm used to watching. It was a fun ride
