Well, I wouldn't allow video games memorabilia and merchandise to marry my daughter, but I've got no problems with it existing as long as it doesn't get right up in my face.

So, Catherine's narrator for P4A announcer. Best idea, or best idea?

"The guy that won't let anyone near his cute little Nanako-chan! The sister-fetish gangster, Yu Narukami!"
Yep, I support this idea as well.

ATLUS doesn't usually announce who does the voices, unless I'm mistaken.

They did for Catherine.
Well, maybe they weren't official announcements. But I remember the information being revealed about individual voice actors as the release date drew near. I think it mostly came from the individual actors revealing it on their personal twitters/facebook

If P4 Arena's voice actors want to make those announcements for themselves, they're free to, but Yukichin's right. We very rarely do that ourselves.

Ah, I see. I was reading a playstation blog post by Aram saying Atlus can't yet confirm if Arena will have Japanese voice acting. I doubt the Japanese voice actors will announce themselves if they'll be in the US version of the game....
So do we wait and see until the game is actually out?

May I ask something? It may sound stupid since I don't know anything about companies... but either way... I want to know: Why don't you (and maybe other companies) credit the voice actors? It's just curiosity. I mean, in the JP opening of Catherine, they put the names of the voice actors, while in the NA opening of Catherine, you guys put the names of the characters. So I want to know just that... it's been bugging me a little.

As far as I know, ATLUS does non-union works, so it's up to the actors themselves to say if they want to be openly credited. Am I correct?

You've released like every KoFXIII PSN avatar except Ash and Dark Ash! The Euro PSN has both of them up, why don't we have them? Why are yo depriving me of my most needed avatars?!?!

This is kind of a stretch, but is there any chance you could reach out to Atlus JP and ask if they have any plans on doing Soul Hackers for PSP or anything? Kind of weird they did the mediocre Devil Summoner and not the vastly superior sequel.

If Devil Summoner was mediocre, then there wouldn't be a Soul Hackers and Raidou Kuzunoha .
The people that fan patched Innocent Sin for the PSX are fan patching Soul Hackers also for the PSX... I dunno the release though.

No one does. I'm well aware of that, but an official Atlus USA release of the best SMT spinoff game ever made? I'd be there on day 1.

Nah. I get what you mean, I was just joking. Anyway, considering that Devil Summoner got a remake in the PSP and didn't get a localization, don't expect too much from Soul Hackers if it gets a remake.
Now that we're on the subject... Atlus, why didn't you localized the Devil Summoner remake for the PSP?

Try this thread. Although they still seem to argue over whether the code was lost or whatever.

May I ask something else? What does it mean that the source code is lost?

This is what a source code is, so if they would have lost it, it means that they would have to write it again from scratch (from what I know, anyway).

That sounds like a real pain to do. Well... that's really bad, I hope that Devil Hackers at least releases Soul Hackers.

Well, it seems that Gemini has put the Soul Hackers project on hold and ATM he's working on another one, which has nothing to do with translations or anything on that regard, so we only need some patience.

It wasn't a remake. It was a direct port.
And directly ported, Devil Summoner 1 is ugly as sin. It makes Revelations look good.
I own it. Believe me, it's nigh unplayable by modern standards.
Good plot and setting, that's about it.

A friend asked me that question, I wasn't able to give a answer and since then it bothers me so even if it's not the most appropriate topic, here it comes...
What is Naoto's bust size in Persona 4
