Is there an optional "ultimate" boss (like Lucifer in the first game) in this game?
Cause I had no motivation nor importance to level up to level 99 to defeat Polaris (Other than fusing Satan)
I already finished my first playthrough,but I haven't started the second run yet.

Yes there is.

Alice

On NG+ you have to choose the option to have optional bosses to appear. They are the Sage of Time, Lilith, Nebiros, Beelzebub, and Belial.

I'm pretty sure you don't have to fight any of the other minibosses besides Nebiros and Belial. But you need to defeat Nebiros and Belial or else you can't fight Alice.

Lucifer took a massive amount of leveling at the end game, or grinding the Sage of Time battle if you were playing Overclocked, but...

I took out Alice my first try, going in to test the waters and figure out a strategy. Turns out I already had the perfect team for the job. Granted, I'd grinded the Beelzebub fight, but I still expected that some modicum of strategy would be involved. No, though, just a massively overpowered skill.

I used the Tyrant strategy from the first game, which worked really well. I simply killed off Belial and ignored Nebiros (I would argue he was harder by himself). I surrounded Alice and hit her with all the best physical skills and almighty skills I had and she went down; she had maybe 3 turns during that time...what I didn't expect was Nebiros 'offing' himself after I took her out.

Alice was a cakewalk compared to Lucifer in the first game. 'Die for me' wasn't nearly as lethal as Megidoladyne with 'anti-almighty' on most of my demons.

MC was level 80 with all other human chars averaging about that level.

I missed Nebiros. I didn't see Belial either but the other special demons did appear and I defeated all of them. Since I missed these two demons, Alice did not appear.

You have to buy "New Tuesday enemy" at the start of New Game+.

After failing several times with a full team, I beat the ultimate boss in a totally unoptimized and unplanned way. I only had the main character out and rushed the boss (think I had Da Peng, the other pick was probably a high-stats demon like Lucifer). I got surrounded by the minor enemies, but there is a limit to how many can attack you directly. I had enough defensive skills set up so that I wouldn't get one-shotted, and Victory Cry to keep my HP/MP up. (Dying in one turn to the boss's special skill is what held me back the other tries.) From there, it was just grinding down the boss. I don't recall if it was Holy Dance or Multi-Strike that put me over the top.

edit: I fused Mitamas, which I'd been too lazy to use up to that point, onto a Lucifer to boost its speed for Multi-Strike. Before that, my damage output was not good enough.
