That Lucifer one is cash. Reminds me of a secret box figure I own, only higher quality.
Has there ever been a Louis Cypher one?

I'd love a Louis Cypher figure *-* Actually, some DDS figures would be pretty cool too XD
*cough* anyways, I'm here with more news on the FuRyu Real Figures; a third set has been confirmed for release in January 2012! This time the featured demons are Loki and Beelzebub [though they have a few different forms, I'm looking for more info/pics/webshops with that now XD]
There's been plenty of Persona-related figure releases too, been a bit lazy on updating with those ^^;
*edit* Booring, these 2 new FuRyu figure look like scaled up version of those small one coin figures, I've got the Beelzebub and I don't like this flavour of Loki [Sheesh, is it too much to ask for a different version of Loki? I kinda liked his first blue fluffy form. Heck, I'd even take the loincloth version, rofl]

I personally like that rendition of Loki more than the original, maybe it's because I recently watched the old anime adaptation of Megami Tensei Digital Devil Story and Loki was just plain creepy there.

So awesome Black Frost, props to you for such collection.
I gotta get myself a Jack Frost figure, gotta love the little fella.
Now, I wish we would get a re-release or another Elizabeth figure. The one released by Alter is long gone and nowadays it costs an arm and leg to grab one.

Hey, this topic was intended for upcoming figure releases, not collections ^^;
Anyways, fresh from this weekend's Tamashii Nation 2011 Bandai event, here's something to look forward to: not only Izanagi, but THE ENTIRE P4 cast [except Teddy, lol] are becoming D-Arts figures! And even if you don't care about P4, there's P3's protagonist and his personas coming out too! Check it out! [All we need now is topless!Akihiko and we're set, hehe ]
*Note that these are prototype figures that may or may not be released and/or may or may not reflect the final product

Because buying all of these might literally empty out my wallet.
And I just noticed that Thanatos, Orpheus, and Konohana Sakura have articulated joints, but not any of the main characters. Kinda sucks since I would've loved to pose them myself.

Okay, good news is, we have a release date for the first figure in this series! Bad news is, it's going to be Bandai Tamashii webshop exclusive! D: There are middleman-type services out there that can buy these exclusive-type figures for you, but all the added fees aren't so fun ;>>

P4 Protagonist
Release Date: May 2012
Price: 2,625yen

I just e-mailed my hook-up, Big Bad Toy Store and they are trying to get the Protagonist/Izanagi set. Good news on my part. They are also taking pre-orders for Thanatos now. Currently 57.99 USD. Pre-ordered it in a heart beat. Oh, and my Beelzelbub and Roki should be arriving in two weeks.

Man, thank you for mentioning this site, I've checked it, they ship international and they have the Protagonist figure up for pre-order. Mine is done, hope it goes well on my first purchase there.
Got the Bandai Izanagi figure at AmiAmi, so all is good, hehe.

You are welcome leonemesis. Always a pleasure to provide helpful info.
And now: BAAAAAALLLLLLSSSSSS DAMNIIIIIIIT! They sold out before I could place mine! Why did I have to go to work that day? Time to scout Amazon as they are a Tamashii outlet. If anybody gets an extra, you got a buyer here.

Aren't you guys tired of Persona 4 yet?
I sure am :/ lol
ANYWAYS, new news from a recent event in Japan, "Wonder Festival 2012", has revealed that the P4 protagonist will be done up (again), this time as a part of the G.E.M. series of figures. Yukiko's persona is somewhere in there too XD
*These are prototypes that may or may not reflect the final version of the figures. No release dates given.

Fortunately, I'm not. My old backwards compatability ps3 died when I was maybe 1/4th of the way through the game. D=
Seeing this stuff makes me want to finish both 3 and 4.

Even more of those super cute/chibi keychain figures are to be released in late May 2012, featuring P4 characters:

Source: Tomopop.com | Amiami pre-order page
And if you want a more subtle keychain there's these:

I think there's a meme involving glasses/shades that I could be using here, but yea XD Release date is also a vague "late May 2012".
Source: Amiami pre-order page
From another recent figure even in Japan, "Hobby Maker Exhibition Winter 2012", Phat! Company is releasing another figure of Izanagi. Looks like a May 2012 release date.

[oops, image killed the forum, sorry about that XD]

The same event also shows some figma figures of the P4 girls:

And, finally, there's these figures [and a Teddy plush] made by Taito to be prizes this upcoming summer shown at the "Amusement Expo 2012" event. Forget pursuing your true self, you P4 figure collectors are gonna need to pursue a second job at this rate :B

Possibly related, but Bandai recently did a poll/survey for most wanted D-Arts figures, I don't quite understand the layout of the pic here, but Raidou placed on this list, so who knows:

[From what I can read, I've got basic kana skills XD] Other mentions include:
Zero [Rockman/Megaman]
X Ultimate Armour [Rockman/Megaman]
Sigma [Rockman/Megaman]
Samus Aran [Metroid series]
MetalGarurumon [Digimon]
Alphamon [Digimon]
Dukemon/Gallantmon [Digimon]
Night Blazer [Wild Arms Series]
Raidou [Devil Summoner Series]

I think someone asked for a Demi-Fiend figure, I wholeheartedly agree, i know there were 2 in Japan, but they weren't fully articulated or easy to get(the second set which also had Chiaki and Isamu aside from Hito-Shura was for a promo event I think). Would love more Kazuma Kaneko figures overall, I really love Soejima Shinegori more mainstream anime design but Kazuma Kaneko has been for over 25 years with Atlus for a reason.

I've been wanting Persona 4 figmas since forever, and looks like we're getting them! And the best part is, one of them is CHIE! I hope Yu Narukami is made into a figma too! He's also the Persona 4 character I really want as a figma!

Alright, so there's been tons of Persona figure news lately, so let's get some variety in here with info and news on some demon figures XD
I found this website featuring some nice photos of the past FuRyu Real Figures, there's Beelzebub, Loki, Cerberus, and Lucifer.
And now FuRyu's got Set 4 of these awesome figures announced for release this August, and the demons chosen this time around are:
Alice & Jack Frost and Mother Harlot
These should be awesome brand new sculpts, which is nice since the past 2 looked like upscaled versions of the one coin figures [once my figures arrived I'll do a comparison shot since I'll have both Beelzebubs XD]
Sadly that's the only picture I could find so far, Hobby Link Japan is already taking pre-orders but they kind of suck on the uptake/time to ship out [took them forever to ship out my Shiva figure when that was released, dunno if they've stepped up since then ;>>]. I'm gonna wait until some other places get their pre-order pages up, but for those interested:
HLJ: Jack Frost & Alice | Mother Harlot

There was one set of the Demi-Fiend/Isamu/Chiaki that came with a starter deck of cards for the SMT:N-based TCG, so of course those are hard to find now; other promotional booster pack boxes [not sure what to call these] had an Abaddon or CuChulainn figure as well a bunch of booster packs; I kinda regret pawning off the Abaddon figure I has as I'm sure could've sold it for a lot more than I did ^^; [to be fair it was rather creepy looking LOL]
The other one I've seen I think was boxed on it's own, maybe it was a pre-order bonus for the game or something? I've also seen some kits like THIS too.

That is awesome, Alice & Jack Frost have both been in so many SMT games, they are staples of the series for sure and Mother Harlot is a really freaking crazy tough boss.
The Shiva & Thor figures are even harder to find than Lucifer and Cerberus, aside from the most recent set, Loki and Beel, they are all really rare and expensive now, I didn't waste my chance and got the Loki figure while still reasonably priced and available, don't wanna take it out of the box but the packaging shows the figure anyway so I will post a pic later.
I see from time to time that Nocturne Figures trio of Isamu, Hito-Shura and Chiaki on Yahoo Auctions(Japan answer to Ebay) going for crazy prices, never lower than 20kyen(around 250 US dollars), the other painted Demi-Fiend figure was a pre-order bonus for the game, yes. Some pics of the set(I wish i owned):
That Demi-Fiend kit looks cool, first time I see that one, but I did see one just like it for Sera(from Digital Devil Saga) both disassembled and put together/painted, it looked great.

To be released in May this year, the Jack Frost nendoroid:

I had seen early news of it being released last month, but couldn't find any place selling or taking pre-orders. If anyone finds any places online, please post here! :3

Yea, sad that those figures get rare so quick. I've only see that Jack Frost vinyl figure being resold once on yahoo japan for a crazy amount. Good thing I pre-ordered mine ;>> I wasn't interested in getting Thor so no big deal for me ^^;
The kit figures look awesome, but obviously some painting skill is required ^^; I think I saw someone selling an unpainted kit figure of Raidou on ebay, dunno if that's still around.
*edit* More persona 4 dang it,

I find that these things are usually the cheapest at AmiAmi. Be warned though: They don't accept order cancellations, so be absolutely sure that you're going to buy the things you order or they may never let you buy there again.
Also, the Chie Satonaka figma is up for pre-order!
