I noticed the recent change of KOFXIII banner to Devil Survivor 2. I was wondering if there is going to be a Growlanser banner summer this year.. I am sorry if it is too early to ask..

It's pretty early for that game to get a banner. I know Growlanser is the only game you care about, but if you'll notice, the banner is usually promoting games that are about to come out/just came out, rather than newly-announced stuff.

We're going to E3 (current plans are to have a booth in the West(?) Hall, next to Sony and Nintendo) but far be it from me to even hint at what might be on display there.

As per usual, I think some Atlus folks are staying in L.A. and some (like me) are commuting each day.

Sort of, but for me, E3 has definitely become more about hanging out with friends and less about seeing what games are coming out. Also, grabbing free stuff to sell on eBay is always rewarding.

Yeah I didn't expect you guys to just OUT all your expected plans, I was mostly seeing if you'd hint at stuff a bit to build curiosity and drive the fans nuts. But hey.. still got a long way to go so I am sure there's ample opportunity to get the momentum going.

@manly Biceps - Yeah I think thats why a lot of folk enjoy the Con.. which is kind of sad. I remember when upcoming tech and gaming was like fever pitch madness.. nowadays .. It's more like catching the monday news.

Wish I could go to this thing. I have only seen a little of the Catherine part of last years booth, otherwise I don't have a clue what kind of setup you guys do. Any of you keep pictures of your booth from prior years?

They must have some still around. I remember seeing a few in the past with at least MB and Inzy in them. Probably Onion too, actually, although that one I'm not absolutely certain of (aging memory and all).

When you have 800 sites liveblogging everything, and you have at least 30 sites livestreaming everything, you kind of don't actually need to be there.

What MB said, and as far as hands-on time goes, E3 is basically the worst environment possible to play a game. You have to wait 15-20 minutes in line in the best case, over an hour in the worst, for about 5 minutes worth of play of a demo that in all likelihood is not structured for that kind of experience.

RPGs are the worst for this, too. I still remember getting to "play Dragon Warrior VII in English" back in 2001. No one was resetting the station or had prepared a saved game, so when I picked up the controller, I found myself in the middle of a dungeon. Didn't know why I was there, what I was looking for, or where I had come from. Kind of wandered around the floor for a few minutes and gave up. Then presumably the next person came through and found themselves in the middle of a dungeon, etc...

Unless there was a demo in Japan I kind of doubt we'll be seeing one here, but they could release a gameplay trailer. Of course there is still a lot of time between now and Growlanser's release so just be patient.

Practically no PSP games get demos. Growlanser: WOT will probably continue in this tradition.
