Default Crashing in Mainmenu

At least I am now able to post new topics. It's so senseless, if you register and want to report a bug and you are not able to.

Since I don't get any reply in the steamforums or via supportmail, I'll adress it here too.

This happens as soon as I click when the logo "Droplitz" appears and the small balls come in screen.

Win Vista Ultimate 64-Bit
NVidia GTX260+ Black
4GB DDR2 Ram

I did use the Verfiy Integritystuff, reinstalled, etc.

When I click the mouse, the title goes to the left and then it crashes

Export, like we said in the other thread, all of the tech support for the PC version is being handled by the developer, Blitz Arcade. Please feel free to contact them with your issue.

As far as my personal advice, I'd ensure your drivers are up to date and that your Direct X is up to date and stable.

And no, inquiries isn't spelled wrong, they're based in the UK.

Hello,

it's only Droplitz, all drivers are up to date, I also tried older ones.
That mail I got in the other thread didn't bring me anything. I don't get a reply. In the Steamforums are also others with that issue.

It seems to be only with the steamversion though.

Too bad, that here is a "Support" Forum but without support...

Okay I see it, 10 Bucks wasted...

Sorry we can't directly diagnose your problem. Since we only publish the game, we don't have the tools here needed to identify and fix your issue.

That said, I do know that Blitz has been made aware of this problem, and they are currently investigating it.

Only issue I've noticed is that on my older computer I was getting a "virtual memory too low" warning. Other than that it's been fine.

thread hijack, sorry: how do I post a single question (and a thank you to people answering) without spamming somehelpless forum thread 5 times to get new thread creator rights?

maybe someone can start a thread on the Droplitz board for me? here's the question:



Steam achievements don't register

What is the condition to get the "Score 250,000" Steam achievement? I've reached more than 250k on two classic maps and on an Extra map. Do I have to get 250k on one map in each game mode? on every single map? is it simply buggy and should have registered every single time? Four other Droplitz Steam achievements registered just fine.

This is a bug and is going to be addressed in a patch that will be released in the very near future. You should have gotten it the first time you hit 250k.

I was playing this morning and the achievement did not unlock on the easier board. But then unlocked on a harder board. Just FYI.

I can't find any suitable emails on blitz games studio's website to report my show stopping bug.

(im running windows 7 32bit, geforce 8800GT with a dual core)

I just bought the game, and the game crashes right after the intro screen after the blitz logo, then white background. Then it goes into windows desktop,

Has there ever been a good solution to the cascade.exe error? I jsut updated my video driver and now I can't play Droplitz anymore!
