It's a brand new Action RPG for the ds, and 2 people from the devlopment team also worked on Tail Concerto in the past.

Features Include:
- 1 to 4 players over wifi
- wireless play
- robot has the ability to lift crates
- game features ideas that are expanded upon the original Tail Concerto
- action parts with the robot included
- Town maps in the game employ side-scrolling movement using 3D backgrounds
- cutscenes use "Motion Illustation Demo" with fill both DS screens, and are 3D
- full 3D dungeons
- action RPG
- growth for robot and main character

*Absolutely please* bring this over if Bandai does not. I've been waiting for a successor to Tail Concerto for about a decade. I'm not really disappointed that Solarobo will take place in a nearby group of islands in the Air Reef / Leaf; I'm way too psyched that CC2 is working within the TC universe again. Keep both eyes on this, Atlus, I plead with you. Take it up if others will not!

First I would like to say, I'm not against this perse(especially without gameplay videos to base how bad it might be).

However I strongly suggest ATLUS give it a good playthrough(which they obviously do anyway, I just wanted to emphasize caution), as It's very hard to make a good Action/RPG to begin, the slightest flaw in concept, can easily turn what could've been a great game, into a POS.


On a lighter note, Furries, and Robots are cool, it would be a bit of fresh air, that's for sure.

Unfortunately, this is being made by CyberConnect2 and...BAMCO. Odds are we won't be getting it (or in any case, Atlus won't getting it).

I should warn you, the last game simular to this(aka Action/RPG, and online co-op mode), XSEED brought over, they did a half fast job. It was very clear they didn't even test the co-op mode, which led there to be an abuseable glitch, that can get you brokenly high stats. There were other small bugs, and mistakes in the game overall, as well.

I want you to publish it at the very least in the US (though you'd have to figure out how to get rid of the region lock for the DSi and 3DS).I've already been asking the other ones (Namco... sigh), but they don't care about us and didn't even care to reply in 4 months, so I'm now giving up on them and asking you to do it, as it's one of those games I would love to understand, as I've played a bit of it without knowing a word of Japanese, which is quite difficult as it's dialogue centered though I fell in love with what I've played so far. So I'm asking you : would you kindly release it in the US, and in Europe please ?

There is a simple problem...Namco-Bandai has to give their permission first. If they say no, nobody can even try to release it in the states. So we're at the mercy of those blockheads. <_<

Man, I really hoope they are going to make a move with this game and leave it to Atlus, this way, the game will at least not get (eventually) modified in content and maybe give it the chance it would have to sell at least a few copies (I'm sure they would release it in the dark and let it sort itself out in the stores). Whatever happened to that playable demo at one of the European conventions? I was expecting a Euro release at least. I hate importing (such a hassle), but it's better than no English release. I wish we would see some of these gems...DS releases are really slowing down (just Okamiden and Pokemon in march), so I'm getting sad. :(

Monster Tale's looking pretty sweet, too. Majesco is actually trying to publish good games again, which is awesome considering the run they had on the Xbox way back when (Psychonauts, Phantom Dust, etc.). I hope it does well.

But yeah, other than that nothing's really coming. I hope someone announces something soon.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't really follow Majesco so I didn't know this game existed, but after looking at some gameplay, I'm going to have to pick it up. :)

Watch it be too much of a cost for Atlus to hand over. Because I think if Atlus was able to, they'd have already grabbed several of those Tales games that were never released in the US.

Oh, I'm well aware that's probably the case. I think I recall that the Tales games are in fact off limits to licensees. I think there was an article where an XSEED representative said as much when they had their deal with Bandai Namco.

Still, I'm partly holding out hope for something at E3. Sitting on the Tales series makes a certain sense, what with it being one of their flagships. But a fairly obscure DS title seems like an odd thing to horde away from potential publishers if there wasn't the possibility that they might publish it themselves.

It will be published by Nintendo Europe for the PAL region:) Just google for Solatorobo Red Hunter. I hope you guys get a version too, because that game seems to be region locked (DSI enhanced...).

Not entirely. Only the DSi features can't be used. The regular game will still run on any pre-DSi DS.

I'll hold out hope for E3. Maybe Nintendo will release it to fill the lull until the big 3DS games come out.

Just because nintendo is releasing it for Europe there's no reason Atlus can't release it for North America as well.

As long as its translated into English I'll buy it from wherever in the world. I just hope they also think about translating and releasing the Collector's Edition with the artbook and the soundtrack, I wouldn't minding buying that.

Looks like even Siliconera just made a more concrete confirmation sadly they won't say who this mysterious publisher is. (totally Xseed)
