Unfunny Black Phantom Moments....

Invaded 2-1.. Took the lift up (the one next to the blacksmith), right before I could jump off to the higher platform I died for no reason (I was standing completely still mind you, chatting away while my controller was idle). I lost a level so maybe it could have been some funky lag but it was seriously weird. I literally watched myself die waiting to step off to the higher platform. Any other experiences like this?

Interestingly enough in 2-1 I killed the host outswide of the rock throwing place and got nailed with a rock...lost a soul level but, in retrospect it was probably pretty hilarious to the host.

i invaded 1-4. The host must have ran past blue dragon. As I was crossing the bridge, I hear dragon flying back. I figure I'll just run past the fire. Well as the dragon lands on the bridge, it knocks me off the map. I fall to my death.

Well, while backing off in 4-2 from a fire weapon Black Phantom I fell off the edge (was trying to make distance to heal myself)

I was helping a friend dupe items for some of his accounts in 5 1, I'm near the cliff before going up stairs and get invaded. I didn't noticed him because I was typing, he swings 3 times and notices he is not doing a lot of damage. I had my back facing the cliff so he tries to backstab me but falls off the cliff instead lol.

Are you sure you weren't banished? Host could have been waiting up top and cast banish while you were seemingly safely riding up.

Huh. If I were him I just would have done a forward tap + R1 attack. Would have been almost as funny as your story.

In 2-2, I got invaded while I was in the tunnels, dealing with the big bugbears. Got messaged that I was invaded, and moments later see him behind me (incidentally, I've noticed quite a few times that the BP shows up right after invasion notice... and there is no way they could have ran that far that fast... ???).

He could have been mean and pushed me into the bugbear (might have lost my kill), but instead, bowed and prepared for a duel. Moonlight blade versus his something fairly large and two handed... in the tunnel... Moonlight ignoring his shield caught him by surprise at first, as did the tunnel blocking swipes, so I had the edge in the beginning... but was never quite able to get that last hit in.

So this went back and forth for a while, until I changed to Istarelle, and finally killed him.

Get to Flamelurker, and guess who do I happen to summon as a blue phantom to help me......

Now, I don't know if this was on purpose, or just really bad luck, but about 20 seconds into the fight, he got disconnected... which left me alone to deal with lurker. Tense fight with a few close calls, but beat the boss anyway.

This guy just invaded my SL120 in 4-1. He had full chain mail, and tower shield wielding NR in 1 hand. I thought it was odd that he was just walking up to me but then I realized he was overencumbered. lol First time I've ever seen anyone be completely encumbered. I tapped him 3 times with a mh and he died.

Not as a Black Phantom, but once as a Blue Phantom, me and the host would go up that lift. I jumped down first to land on one of the "elevators" and then the host stepped out and landed on top of me. He was standing on my head. For a few seconds, this seemed perfectly fine and we travelled almost all the way up the lift like this, but then all of a sudden we both died, just like that!

Similar glitch perhaps.

Are you sure you weren't banished? Host could have been waiting up top and cast banish while you were seemingly safely riding up.

Yes, he was actually deeper in the mines, and I decided to take the lift in hopes of getting in front of him.

One time I invaded 1-3 and I don't know how it exactly went. But I was on the walkway above the gate and saw the Host running back to the start of the level, I thought it would be easy, so I run a little bit back into the level and drop of a ledge.

Now, as I jump down I suddenly realize I didn't check where I was going to land - and yes... "Hmm ####, this is a pretty long fall..." BAM!

It was pretty funny though.

I was invaded by a bp in 4-2 and the bp was using the scraping spear at first i thought nothing of it hes hitting me and doing no damage so i emote a few sighs as the fight goes on both my NR and dragons long sword break. At that point i was tired of fighting the spears are impossible to defect he sees me trying and switches to a miridian hammer and wins. When i go back to nexus it cost 15k in souls to fix each piece of my old king armor

I was once de-leveling a character... so I invaded 2-1, thinking of just suiciding to lose a level. To my surprise, host and a blue are at the door below the guys throwing rocks... so I cast second chance, blue casts warding and runs to get me. host stays at the door. i kill the blue, bow... and then I rotated on myself (clockwise) for about 5 seconds (on purpose)... then I sprinted back and fell to my death. host must've been... :confused:

unfunny moments??? ummm I was typing in game to a friend so I must have missed the message cuz I was just minding my business in 1-4 and all of a sudden *backstab* I was like O_O ... not even cool man....

another time I invaded 4-1 and got firestorm combo'd :/ that really sucked
