Was reading latest D-toid preview (http://www.destructoid.com/preview-i-want-3d-dot-game-heroes-even-more-now-164178.phtml) and they reminded me of something I had previously read on Siliconera from when the Japanese patch hit.
Our version gets a hard disk install feature to cut out load times, but you may not want to use that, as there are over 100 loading screens that are parodies of classic games' art and boxes. The game's interface was also changed/improved, with one of the additions being a viewer for the previously mentioned loading screens
I don't get it. Are Loading Screens completely disabled once the game is installed? That seems kind of extreme. What about those of us who want to both install the game and have access to those loading screens?
Yes, I am aware of the irony.

There will be a gallery in which you can view all those loading screens seperately if you wish to do so.

My understanding is that the gallery only displays Screens which you've "unlocked".

There seemed to have been a bit of confusion regarding how the HDD install affects loading screens during some of the recent demos for the press.
Fact of the matter is, the HDD install does not affect whether of not load screen art appears. However, with game data installed, load screens will be shorter meaning you might only see the art for a second rather than a few. That said, the game does have an option for whether or not to display the art. So if that's turned off, you'll never see the load screen art, but as long as it's on, load screen art will always appear.
And it's true that the gallery only displays art that has been "unlocked" already, where "unlocked" means the art randomly appeared during any load screen. Meaning with the load screen art option turned off, you'd never accumulate anything in that gallery.
Trivial side note to make sure I'm not being incorrect at all here: I think the loading art might display no matter what when first loading a game from the main menu, since it's a longer load then those in gameplay. I might be wrong here though.

Thank you.

That seems like a huge possibility, unless it cuts to a screen with one picture like Valkyria Chronicles did.

Honestly I have installed tons of games on my ps3 and 360, however no matter how much I install it has never actually removed loading screens entirely. With the viewer there as well I don't really see a valid reason not to install it to the HDD. Once I unlock a large number of them I can just go back and enjoying them en masse.

the loadings screens became a matter of turning it on or off in the options

So I don't have the game installed and I've seen plenty of load screens...yet none in my galler? What am I missing.

Enable the feature in options under screen

By any chance are the only load screens you're seeing the ones that appear during the initial continue/new game? There's a chance that those might not add to your gallery, meaning only the ones you see during in-game transitions will add to the gallery. And to see those, you'll need to turn on the option that lod7 suggested.
