Busin 0, the spiritual sequel (and chronological prequel) to the title released in the US as "Wizardry: Tales of the Forsaken Land," is a dungeon crawling RPG released around the early 2000s for the PS2 by Atlus (developed by, I believe, Racjin).
Now, hear me out - it seems like the fact the game was released for a console almost past its sendoff days, and the fact it was released a number of years ago, might be a death knell - but this hasn't stopped the idea of several other translations (other things have, but regardless) of games that were released for consoles with similar problems and times with similar problems.
As far as I'm aware, Wizardry: Tales of the Forsaken Land was reasonably successful - given how hard the title is to find, I imagine that there was either a painfully small number of copies, or a lot of loving Wizardry fans. Busin 0 is similar in gameplay, but a lot more polished, with additional classes and story... and a bit more murderous difficulty.
I can't supply very many images, but a quick Google search will turn up enough materials to generate interest if you'd have any (videos and so forth).
I expect there might be problems with the idea I'm not aware of, but I think it's worth consideration either way. Thanks.
