Since Best Buy now has put it on indefinite backorder I'm going to try and find it locally here in Redding, CA. Has anybody seen it in their local retailers? If so what city and which store?

So far I've only heard of some folk snagging it from a GameBuzz in Canadia.

Either the ATLUS wharehouse blew up before they can be shipped to the stores or it was a 100% sold out through pre-orders(I could see that happening with Wizardry, if ATLUS localizes it, but this, while great, I doubt it, not to mention GS wasn't taking pre-orders either).

They also have not charged my CC although they say they authorized it today.

I'm thinking it's a combination of the storms, a limited run, and the fact that it is a pretty low priority item to all of the gaming retailers that explains why we haven't seen it yet.

Not seen it in any stores yet. Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target, Game Stop, Gamecrazy, or EB. Didnt pre-order it as it never showed on GC's pre-order list and to be honest, figured there were too many other games I was after this month. Games I still need to get.

The 9th was just the expected release date and I don't think they got it yet...but then again I know I've had a few cases I get my Amazon "shipped" notice on the day it arrives (like they're sometimes a bit slow on updating the statuses).

Well, It looks like Amazon is filling orders based on shipping method rather than when the order was placed. People that paid for a faster shipping methods are getting theirs shipped first. I know two guys at work that order within the last couple of days and both have their copy being shipped as week speak. I placed my order in November and I still have to wait because I want to save a few bucks.

Got mine today! I remember bugging you about this game years ago on NEOgaf and GameFAQS.

Hard to believe it is actually here and translated with good cover-art in the US!

Just the one. It wasnt out on the shelf. Kinda surprised and thankfull they had yet to open it up for the store display copy.

Yea, mine was sealed non-reserve copy at Gamestop. I think they only had 2 copies of the game one opened, one sealed.

Are you certain? I have my Wii set to 16:9 but Shiren still displays with two small black bars on either side of the screen. The picture is almost widescreen but not quite (the bars are about 1 maybe 2 inches on each side).
