Hey Guys,
Can one change the difficulty mid-game? I was hoping to complete the main quest in Easy but once I get to the fun post story stuff, switch it back to Normal...is that possible?

I'm guessing since you already beat the import, you're looking to cruise through the main game and then take on the post-dungeons at a standard difficulty?
Well the bad news is that no, you can't change your difficulty, but the good news is that many of the post-game dungeons force you back to level 1 with an empty inventory anyway, and do not let you keep things should you die. That may not be the case for ALL of them, though.

Oh, wait, so even if playing on "Easy" the post story dungeon's own rules can overrule the "no loss of items on death"?
I'll probably just muscle through it on Normal again then. At least having done it once I know about what to expect.
I also would normally take issue with a game that let you change difficulty mid-stream anyways, so this is actually only a good thing...I just so want to skip right to "Dessert" as it were.

It should be, maybe the game would have not been critically panned in Japan as the weakest in the series if the main story didn't try to hold your hand through it.

So what about the raving Famitsu rating? Were they the only ones who liked it?

The fact that people still find Famitsu reviews credible is actually quite admirable, really.

So what, somewhere near as credible as "Go Nintendo"? ;-P

Is there any chance of the Shiren 1 and 2 being localized for the US?

Chances are as good as Michael J. Fox resuming his role as Chance.
THAT PART AT THE END where you don't know if Shadow made it back gets me every time!!!!
