Any possibility for a 360 release?

ah, my relationship with atlus. I picked up my first atlus game Persona for the ps1 waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back. Had to be around 99 or 2000. I loved the dark atmosphere and storyline, but found the whole first-person dungeon style a little to hard toget used to and eventually gave up. I had forgotten all about the game and had never even heard of the megaten series until I stumbled across a copy of Persona 3 at my local game stop about 3 or 4 months ago. From beginning to end, I enjoyed every moment. After I finished the game, I traded it in (sans the sound track) for what was being hyped as one of the most innovative strategy rpgs yet: Soul Nomad. Needless to say, I regretted that decision before the night was over. :evil:

After checking wickipedia out, I scoured the net for more english megaten games and though I was unimpressed with DDS, I got a copy of Devil Summoner. Not the greatest game, but it had it's highlights. Unwilling to pay a hundred bones for a used copy of Nocturne on ebay, I'd pretty much given up on getting another fresh rpg for my ps2.

So, last week after skimming the shelves at eb one final time, I concluded that my ps2 was useless to me as far as rpgs go. 'time to move up"',I thought. So when I recieved my tax refund check, I splurged and got a 360 along with a copy of Blue Dragon. Though I'm truly digging the "DQesqueness" of it, the game is way too light. To top it off, this morning I find out that there's a Persona 3 spin-off/sequel-whatever.

So anyway, the point of this post (yeah I realise I should've gotten to that like 3 paragraphs ago): is there any possibility that I'll ever see another megaten game? I truly enjoyed my ps2 for a long time, but I'm anticipating the ps3 to end up like the Sega Saturn. Mebbe not, but for someone like me who plays rpgs almost exclusively, there's nothing on that system to draw me in. I've heard that they've still got Square-enix backing them, but Square hasn't released anything I've truly enjoyed since the psx.

It appears that I've digressed again so I'll end this post with a final question: Is there anything for 360 gamers to look forward too?

Pfft, all these people talking about it won't happen sound like all those fanboys that said Final Fantasy XIII will never happen on Xbox 360. How is the future of Star Ocean looking there sonyboys? Look, you a RPG fan then you better wise up and see what system is taking care of business. Maybe Atlus and SMT might not jump on board but I would not say never.

I bought all three Atlus 360 games and I think 2 of the 3 were sloppy. Atlus needs to put a strong game out there like the Persona series to build some hype for there company on that system. Persona 4 on PS2 and 360 would of really worked well I think. Hope it is not to late, my PS2 already got a inch of dust on it in the closet and Dec is still far.

First any game that is a really good game will have a good fanbase. They got to make a name for themselves. Operation Darkness, Spectral Force 3 and Zoids Assult is not turning no 360 heads as being the next best thing. SE had to drop Final Fantasy before they made a name for themselves so if Atlus drops Persona 4 and it is a great game getting 9.5 ratings and appealing to 360 owners curiousity and those who would not buy actually do because they wanna see what critics raved about and spread word and become fans... Well that is how it happens

Second a few weeks back Xbox 360 outsold the PS3 and totally sold out across Japan. People are buying and coming around and I have not checked the sales of the system recently so it might be even higher. And what do I care about Japan? You live in Japan? I don't and I am thinking about only the games that come to America. I don't wanna talk to people who just jock what Japan does.
