How cool would it be if a character made a cameo in this game, like Dante in SMT: Nocturne?
Or how about Bayonetta?
It wouldn't influence me to buy it, because I already am going to, no matter what, but I think it would be awesome for Dante/Bayonetta/Another SMT hero.
I mean, if the devolopers liked Devil May Cry, they might like Bayonetta. Or they could just throw in the Demifiend, and I would be happy. What do you think?

It's really kinda too late for that.
Besides that, I'd rather keep the cameos within the family, if you know what I mean. Dante's cool and all, but Raidou's better.

The SMT franchise has since proven that it's able to to stand on it's own legs, without the need for extraneous cameo appearances to boost sales.

Devil Survivor had the cameo bidders in the Demon Auction, I wouldnt be surprised to see something similar in Strange Journey

I don't know if I want a cameo but Megaten games usually have nuggets for the fans within their games.

Was Joey Jo Jo Shabadoo Jr. not enough of a cameo for you?

Seeing how the other megaten has various references, I would be surprised if this didn't have any.

I'm fairly indifferent towards such cameos. It wouldn't affect my purchasing decision either way. (I've preordered SMT:SJ anyway)
Having said that, I think Bayonetta would fit in perfectly. I'd *love* to see Bayonetta drawn in SMT art style. It will be all manner of hot and sexy rolled into something that's too awesome for words. :D

I'd love to see cameos from other SMT games. Anything else not so much.

Dante was a cool cameo, but I don't think out-of-universe cameos have to be a staple.
Dante was cool just because I could use this appearance of Dante and totally pretend his role in Nocturne was, for Dante, Devil May Cry 2. I apprecaited his low rates, I would hire again!
Bayonetta makes sense from a supernatural standpoint, similar to Dante, but I don't think they need to do the out-of-universe cameo thing again.

Need, certainly not. But I don't think it should just be a one-time thing either. I don't care to see it again in SMT:SJ, but I think it's an interesting thing to do once in a blue moon.

Cameos would not honestly affect my choice in buying this game because it looks like it could stand very well without it, but I think it would be cool to fight the Embryon from DDS.

I just remembered that the history teacher in Persona 3 asked a few questions that refers to Devil Summoner

Well, since, yeah, it is kinda too late for that, what if (as in it really did happen) Teddie was in it? He looks like a demon, when he's in the suit. I think that he has potential to become an iconic character... Kinda like Jack Frost.

As much as I like Teddie I like Jack Frost better but it would be cool to have a Teddie-looking demon in a future game.

Ehh, he might not be exactly Jack Frost material, but now that i think about it, he could be more like a Black Frost. Kinda? Maybe appear in a few games here and there.

I thought Dante was an interesting addition to Nocturne, and I'm glad I went through all the trouble to get him (I couldn't have beat Metatron without him), but it didn't really add much to the experience other than the fact that he's a bit overpowered, and made some of the grinding easier. In terms of plot, I would rather not mess with that sort of thing.

I go along with some of the others in thinking we don't need any cameos. For me it is just enough to have another SMT game!

In terms of demon cameos, I would kill to have something like Samus Aran from Metroid.
I can see it now...Kaguya-Hime wearing a suit of powered armor like Samus's. It works story-wise, too. Kaguya was explicitly stated to have long golden hair - like Samus. Kaguya was sent to and raised by people who were not her own - like Samus. They're both of cosmic origin. It could so work. We have Lilith/Gozer, can't see why we can't have Kaguya/Samus.

The thing about Dante, Nocturne made him work with the story, and very well.
If SJ could pull off something like that, I'd welcome it.

Yeah, if it was something like, for example, Jason Borne, then I would be a little... Not to satisfied. If it was something like Teddie like I said earlier, then I would be more satisfied. Dante made sense, and he was from a different universe, so I bet the Teddie would make even more sense.
