IGN has always been a terrible website. You'd think a qualification of a professional review site would not to be ignorant.

Well, here's IGN trying to be controversial for attention with their incredibly lousy video of their Game of the Year (Uncharted 2: Among Thieves). For Pete's sake, they rhymed mother-****er with mother-****er.

I think that was a stupid video, but that's more because I think the whole swearing-laden gangsta rap is stupid. I'm obviously not the target audience for that vid, so whatever.

As for IGN, I never understood people constantly bashing it. So their opinion is hit-or-miss. What website isn't? If you need a website that you agree with all the time 100%, I say go make your own.

Wow... That was embarassing to watch. I never liked IGN but this is just the lowest point they could reach. It looks like a really bad FMV made by some kid on youtube.

It's quite obvious that this video isn't to be taken seriously. But I still did get a nice chuckle out of it.

As a side note, I think Uncharted 2: Among Thieves deserves its game of the year awards.

Why? I had a great time with the game, but it was basically a movie with some Gears of War-shooting included, and practically automatic platforming. Other titles deserved it more, like Arkham Asylum and Demon's Souls, both innovating and excellent games I can see myself replaying in ten years and think "man, this is great."

Fatney is correct. UC2 was a fun game to play, but was basically like participating in a movie. Same thing for Assassin's Creed 2, fun as hell but basically participating in a movie and I only got a weeks worth of play out of it!?

I've been playing Demon's Souls for 3 months and on my third build - different strategy with different character builds if you stay under SL 100 or so. Amazing game!
