Come on, Lucifer, a dress? What's next? A Jack Frost cosplay?

I can't read Japanese, but are you sure that's suppose to be a Fallen angel(devel), looks too cute to be such.

She has her hair set up in a similar fashion to Lucifer's and the brooch she wears in her`hair matches the head of Lucifer's cane in Nocturne.
I would say its Lucifer.
Sometimes a boy, sometimes a young man, sometimes an old man... why not a young woman? He's gotta spice up his routine every now and again.

I think he was at his prime in Devil Summoner 4.
Can anyone translate the text there?

No, he'll be a grandma...
The text... someone once translate it, but I kind of forgot what it says, except that "girl" is a mysterious girl that live in the Schwarzwelt.

'She' has a section in the US website, but it's not available yet.
'Strange Girl'.
I swear, Lucy, say one word about a 'spark' this time...

It's most likely him crossdressing.
In the jp version, he talks like a man.
Not to mention that flat chest...

So when is he going to stop beating around the bush? Are you going to war on heaven or not? Slacker.

So did Naoto...
Given that Lucifer is already shapeshifting, I don't really think changing gender is strange.
And what's wrong with flat chests?

I found this on gamefaqs, translation for her profile.
Strange Girl
"Where do you belong? A steadfast soldier of the law, or an agent of chaos?"
An enigmatic girl who speaks of demons and humans, but seems content to witness the proceedings rather than take an active hand.
Yeah, Lucy is still watching and manipulationg from the sideline...

He named his alias Louis Cypher, beating around the bush doesn't get much worse than that.

It's goat, like Old-Lucifer's cane.

Then again, Lucy was an angel, now fallen. I'm pretty sure he still retains his androgynous nature (and physical appearance) as how most angels are.
Both beautiful and handsome...and odd. 0_o

Louisa Ferre?

Louis Cypher was at least subtle. :P

It didn't immediately dawn on me. This one... yeah.
I'll still call 'her' Lucy.

Actually, it's about as subtle, it's just less subtle to *us* since we know about the previous alias.
Someone new to the series will I'm sure be pretty floored when 'she' takes off the disguise.
Well, if she does XD

They still insist on keeping the "Louis" part of the name.
I thought something like "Lucy Ferrera" would be more subtle.

I'm kind of disappointed, it felt like 'she' was just shoe horned in there for the sake of it being an SMT game rather than serving a specific story purpose ;p

Welcome to dang near every SMT game that isn't Persona since Nocturne.

Louisa Ferre is only unsubtle because SMT fans are used to Lucifer's whole song and dance by now. You have to wonder if he's even trying to hide his identity anymore, so much insult everyone's intelligence.

Working on my second play through this game, and Louisa Ferre still hasn't actually done anything yet!
Quit being a mouthy spectator and do something already!
If the option to attack him/her comes up I AM SO TAKING IT HEAD ON!!!!!!

Unfortunately, you can't do that (as far I remember).
'she's' probably getting lazy after having Demi-fiend on 'her' side.

She has a bigger role in the Chaos path, but is pretty much absent from neutral and law.
I expect the Wisemen are the same way. They played a path in Law and disappeared if you go Neutral.
Little disappointing. I'm kinda hoping they do a Strange Journey sequel (like SMT1 -> SMT2) and expand on Louisa and the Wise men.
Also, any guesses as to who gave the humans the demon summoning program?
And I dunno that Lucifer has the demi-fiend. Would he really need to try to convince anyone to remake the SchwarzWalt if he had that kind of power backing him? I'd say either Nocturne didn't occur in Strange Journey's timeline (or didn't occur *yet*, but that seems odd) or Nocturne ended with the freedom ending.

It's all hearsay, but it's been said that he is the general of Lucifer's army.
And really, does he deserve any less?

Well, if Strange Journey follows the same timeline as Nocturne then by default it has to be the Freedom ending, since it means the conception occurred and was reversed. No world is created from either Demon endings, and we can see that the world does not follow the rules of Shijima, Yosuga, or Musubi.

Well, if Strange Journey follows the same timeline as Nocturne
But who says it does?
One of the things I like about these games is that I can assume my ending is the ending. That's why I think that SMTII, while a cool story in its own right, makes SMTI suffer in hindsight. In a game with such far-reaching consequences for your choices, it sucks to be told that your choices in the previous game didn't matter. I'd rather have a story with no canon ending, like Nocturne or now SJ, than one that does have a canon ending and it's not the one I saw.

That's why I said "if". It doesn't necessarily have to. In fact, I rather prefer thinking of SMT 1 & 2, Nocturne, and Strange Journey has occurring in seperate universes.
I don't think it's necessarily bad that the games can follow a timeline, like with SMT 1 & 2. 2 had a pretty amazing story and setting which wouldn't have really been without SMT1 to establish it.
I think it's kind of needless to try to shoe horn every SMT game into a singular timeline. Especially because the games involve such huge literally world shattering events it's kind of hard to justify which endings were used, because as pointed out, they'd have to go with the endings that reset things more often than not.
Certain endings would be pretty interesting to see developed into sequels. Like I think it would be interesting if in Devil Survivor a sequel was made going off of Yuzu's ending. But then by that same token, some endings just couldn't develop into future installments, like Strange Journey's Law ending.

Well, whatever had happened at the end of SMT1, the Messians were bound to screw it up, so SMTII probably would've happened regardless.

Ah yes, the great and powerful Lucifer, reduced to a shoe-less girl that just lectures you from the sidelines. There is always a chance of a sequel you know? But I wouldn't care if there isn't, I was satisfied with the Neutral ending. (haven't gotten the other two yet) But with the Neutral ending there is very little preventing the Swartzwelt from returning seeing as humans are not the smartest creatures. The United Nations (I hope) and the Red Sprite know that they have to change the world, but that doesn't mean the rest of the world will follow through sadly.

I wouldn't mind a direct sequel, or at least another game using the Demonica, or a similar system.
