Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan! [PS3]
Okay, so SEGA finally announced Yakuza 3, but it's painfully clear they're ignoring Kenzan! altogether. Why would they pass up on this? Well it's often been said the game is "TOO Japanese", and I find that more than a little insulting.

Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan! is indeed a period piece set in Kyoto during the Edo period, truly a Samurai epic that feels like an interactive Kurosawa film. All digital actors return in different roles, however, with the lead being none other than Musashi Miyamoto incognito as a hitman for hire under the guise of Kiryū Kazumanosuke. It's an incredible story involving betrayal, mystery, and plenty of incredible fights.
I understand one of the prime concerns was revolving the main character taking on the job that moves the story by forcing Haruka, a young girl, to work for the local Gion Brothel in order to fund his receipt...but honestly, with games like Heavy Rain coming out are we not able to handle "Adult" situations?
Please ATLUS...I implore you!! Save Kenzan's destiny from something reduced to regional exclusivity. I love my Yakuza games, and I thoroughly enjoyed Kenzan to the degree I'd rebuy it, replay it, and love every moment once again. SEGA has no interest in this title anymore and they've moved on to bigger things (in their mind).
