Soundtrack CD for sure. I'm a sucker for soundtrack CDs.

I'm generally not an artbook guy, but I would love to see an oversized artbook (like, big enough to be a coffee table book, not a size of a booklet) for 3DDGH, like with more renders of classic game scene homages, etc. I'll gladly pay extra for that.

Artbook, soundtrack, some kind of pixel-y building kit.

I also like behind the scenes type dvds. those are always fun for me to watch.

Well, I'm kind of hoping they'll just do a bonus item with pre-orders of the regular game rather than doing a more expensive deluxe set (although I'd probably buy it), I wouldn't mind an art book, but one more extensive than the Demon's Souls artbook more like the Persona 3 artbook.

Depending on how good the music is (going to have to check some vid's to listen) a soundtrack would be good too.

Something a bit more out there like a figure would be awesome, like for Hammering Hero, but that seems like a long shot since the JP version didn't have one.

I was thinking along those lines. Something like a mini model kit like legos or whatever. That would be pretty cool.

I'm not really expecting anything deluxe for this game anyway so it doesn't matter to me.

An artbook and/or Soundtrack would be great. I would also love to see a figurine of some kind.

Dude, you expressed your dissatisfaction about the DLC in another topic. If it bothers you that much then don't buy the game.

Lego cubes

I lol'd. Also, that would be awesome. Or at least a book of instructions on how to assemble characters and the like from the game out of standard lego bricks.

But since that seems unlikely, soundtrack CD. Normally I'm all up ons art books, but I dunno that I would be as much with a game like this.

How about a keychain of a character/item/location from the game?

Although they (Atlus) are just being the publisher, they could allow a few of their company icons in the game. But it would be up to the devs (From Software) to have the final say.

This for sure. I just finished up Ar Tonelico 2 and will still continue to listen to the soundtrack. Simply amazing.

I do like the art books. I have a handful of the Atlus ones(P4 and Eternal Poison off my head). Um, i guess a 3dot figure would be pretty cool, kinda like the plushy from Devil Summoner 2.

I'm not picky on bonuses, especially Atlus and NISA ones.

Oh yeah, a strategy guide like Demons Souls would be cool as well.

As with what every other user preceding me has suggested, an artbook and soundtrack are essentials. I wouldn't mind a miniature collectible either, in the parameters of which The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks special edition (http://www.sealedgameheaven.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Zelda-Spirit-Tracks-GAME-Exclusive1.jpg) is bundled in, of course. xD

I was told at GameFAQs that if I wanted a Collectors Edition, I should join here and post, asking for one. So that's why I'm here.

Despite my objections about this game being on the PS3 considering the game it's a "tribute" to, that's exactly the reason I want this game, because I'm legitimately a fan of Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda.

I would eat up a Collectors Edition. Especially one that would include art book with all the loading screen artworks in it, considering we're getting the option to install the disc on the console, thus eliminating the art. This would make installing the game more worth it.

A movie mode, were you can position the camera and type in silly dialogue and post to Youtube. DLC obviously.

I disagree with your movie mode idea. As I said, the reason I objected to this game being on the PS3 is because I know the PS3 userbase (those who aren't neutral about the "Big 3"... and most aren't) will be jerks enough to make Link from Zelda 1 in their games, upload videos to YouTube and say "Ha ha, Zelda is now on the PS3!" People are going to do that regardless, but this movie mode would make it easier for them to do so.

I think you need to stop worrying so much about other people and learn to just enjoy games. If I see a person make a youtube video of Link in 3D dot game heroes that would make me enjoy the game exactly 0% less. They make those kind of videos in hopes that it will annoy some crazy rabid zelda fanboys and it seems to be working, now I want to get in on the making zelda videos action.

I agree with Mclane wholeheartedly here.

I mean, seriously, is it really going to annoy you THAT much that some people will say "hey, Zelda is now on PS3"?

Some of these fanboyism stuff is just ridiculous.

Anyway, I love the movie mode idea. "Zelda on PS3" notwithstanding, I think it could be something that could be a user-created content sensation similar to, say, Miku Miku Dance or something. I mean, not necessarily with J-pop dance songs or whatnot, but just a medium where people can go crazy and have fun. (and possibly lead to additional sales ;))

(I wouldn't mind a 3D Dot Heroes version of Hatsune Miku stuff though, to be honest. :))

I thought it was pretty good. I wanted to think outside the box and not the usual poster, art book, or soundtrack. But at the same time something that's actually possible which this would be pretty easy because there's already already a Demon's Souls dynamic theme in Japan and Demon's Souls was very popular here.

Yup:agree:......maybe make the plastic game case into the shape of an NES cartridge? I think what would be more realistic than an NES type cartridge though is a retro NES box with retro box art or a slip cover that looks like a cartridge or a retro cartridge box:tongue:

I thought Atlus already has said there would be no Collector's edition and that the $39 low price was the best bonus we would see? Too bad because I would love some of these ideas. Poster, art book, retro cartridge resembling an old Nintendo cart would be awesome. Change it's color from gray to black though to match the PS3. Throw in a 3D dot hero figure, soundtrack and a making of documentary and I'd pay $100 for it.

Soundtrack, Artbook, Keychain/mini-statue.

I love limited editions and I am such a sucker for them. I would snatch it up immediately.

Somehow, one thing I think would make this game feel really classic, is if it came with stickers. There would be something amusing about that.

According to the video on the PlayStation website, Atlus has added some character models to choose from. Now, I don't know if these models were from DLC that came out in Japan and the Atlus guys are releasing the game here with all the DLC content, but I would love to see a voucher for a dungeon making DLC.
If not, then maybe a limited run of four or five different foil covers or a multimedia disc that has the soundtrack, wallpapers, and sketchs.

The game would come in a recreation of the treasure chest, and upon opening, would make the noise chests make when you open them in the game.

A few figurines of game characters.

Artbook, soundtrack, interviews

I'd say at this point one of two possible outcomes is likely...

Atlus is really keeping an announcement tight-lipped. However, the more likely scenario, we aren't going to see a collector's edition. Getting the game at 39.99 is our reward...and I'm kind of ok with that. I wouldn't mind the Blu-Ray coming with PS3 enabled content like trailers under the Video tab (Batman & GoWIII do this), soundtrack embedded and under the Music tab, and possible a digital artbook under the Photo's tab. It would all be contained on-disc with every copy...that would be nice.

Yup, that idea is actually a very good one(saves on the print stuff). I'd be happy if they just gave us some bonus Atlus skins(like Jack Frost, teddy, etc.) with a pre-order as well as some DLC bonus maps....but nothing so far:very_sad:

Mostly, the Soundtrack. I'd pay $20 more for just the OST and the game in a box. Then maybe add a Strategy Guide (there's none!), an Artbook. After that whatever else you guys feel for...mini-figure, keychain, DLC...

1: SOUNDTRACK CD / OST
2: Strategy Guide
3: Artbook

Give me this and i'll pay near $100 for it. Honestly. I'll buy multiple copies too.

Hehe Tivor, I actually did buy two copies. :grouphug:

In terms of what I would have loved to see bundled with the game... just a soundtrack would be fine with me. :) Hell, even if they just released a DLC soundtrack on PSN, I'd be happy with that. I'd also like to see some more DLC (like the level editor, maybe some more minigames, maybe some more prefab characters, etc.).

A patch that would unlock the rest of the loading art and ease up on those dash circuit times would also be welcome, NewSpecies!
