instead of teachers, medics and workers to rebuild people’s homes. Those who have more should give to those who have less. Most of the kids there have probably never heard of the PS3 or X360 or Wii let alone played on one of these consoles. We need to send the children food and clothes and video games. What is the point of war? Why can’t we all just be happy and enjoy life together? Life is already short as it is. Why make it shorter? Sorry about the rant, but it would be nice if you could all work together and play together and have fun together. It's not like there is a rule saying that we can't all live happily ever after.

Thanks for the enlightening speach... we should probably worry about getting electricity for those hungry naked kids before we worry about sending them games though.

I fail to see the point of this thread. It actually makes me mad which is not surprising considering the op.

I take it that you have something against me... well, I'm sorry if I have offended you then
I was just trying to point out that while other waste their lives on twitter and forums and such (yours truly included), others have to endure all sorts of unpleasant events, especially kids. It's not fair that we get to play in the comfort of our house while other don't even have one. If it's everyone for himself then what is the point of society? We can all just go live in the woods.

It's not a fair world. It never was. :(

Sadly, nothing in this world is fair... Man, more soldiers...

While I respect your opinion Adrian, I'm not sure much good will come of this thread.
I also have to disagree about the video games statement. What would be the point in sending some kid a 360 or even a PS3 that resides in an area that either doesn't have electricity or a stable power flow. Not to mention the durability of these consoles in environments such as this. It is incredibly impractical and I would have to wonder how the international community would view such an action. $300 would go a long way towards more important necessities.
To be honest though, while your intentions are in the right place, I think you are grossly oversimplifying the situation.
Anyway, like I said, I feel no good will come of this thread. Maybe I am a bad guy, but locked.
