Realizing I have too many video games and what not, i've decided to stop purchasing that kind of stuff for a while now and focus on paying for more important things. If i'm going to pick up any video games, they're probably going to be gifts. I've got more than enough unplayed stuff to keep me occupied anyway.

Warcraft 3 battlechest. My friends coerced me into purchasing this for my laptop, i've long since lost my original copies. We pretty much just play online from time to time.

The Men's Hard Body plan book. I've dedicated myself to fitness and body building, so I went out to my local Border's in search of some literature to start out on, I wasn't overly concerned with what I purchased since this is going to be one of many fitness books I buy. So far pretty much all the information i've read in it has been very useful and pretty much reinforces what i've read online at various other sites. The workout plans have been very effective too, I just need to adjust my eating habits some more.

The ultimate pocket workout journal. Trasitioning from a startout workout I read on a body building website, to the intermediate/advanced hard body plan in the book I bought, I realized that I really needed a journal to record my lifting progress. This one fit my criteria of smallest with most space for recording. About 1/4 of the book talks about exercising and working out, I almost dismissed it but realized that I really should read what I come across.

How the Garcia Girls lost their accents. A book i'm reading for a Latin American class. I'm only a chapter in and I have about a week in a half to write a book report on it. The book isn't terribly long, but I just can't seem to get into it.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I've been meaning to get this, my Mother's boyfriend actually bought it for her because he thought the back was amusing. She wasn't really interested in reading it so she gave it to me.

I also payed for next semester's classes and renewed my license plate (which has been expired since August.)

Enzeru : It's definitely easy to understand the controls and basic aspects of the game. I just got it today so I only played arcade mode to unlock the secret units that are available. The menus are easy to understand as well ( mostly trial and error lol ) but there will be menu translations online eventually.

Hamel : It is the sidestory manga to 00 ( it's called Gundam 00F ) that is about a secret branch of Celestial Being that has their own Gundams but I believe only one GN drive. The first volume showed this secret branch helping out CB ( the four pilots in the anime ) during their armed interventions without them knowing.

That's why I hate buying stuff from ebay. One time, I bought a "like new" copy of D and got a piece of junk. I had to pester that guy for days to get a partial refund.

I usually PM them first - even when the description says 'mint.' Peoples' idea of what is mint seems to differ radically in the U.S.

I did ask him first but he never responded and I assumed he knew better as he sold coins and other collectibles but this was among his first game auction.

I feel sorry for the other people that bought from him except for that guy that got Lunar 1, the strategy guide and the puppet for $34.11.

Anyway, I bought Master and Commander on blu-ray. Gotta love Peter Weir and Russell Crowe. :D

I can't. I already did the Amazon Prime trial last year (or early this year, I forget). :) And yes, when the trial was going on, the UPS man was at my doorstep practically every single day too. :D

Besides, I don't have a Wii yet, and having just splurged on PS3 last month, I can't go crazy on another console, no matter how tempting those games and deals are. Well, not just yet anyway. :)

By the way, on topic, I took advantage of "Buy 1, Get 1 50% off" deal at Toys R Us and got myself Space Invaders Extreme 2 (DS) and LEGO Star Wars Complete Saga (PS3) for $30+tax total. I think I only saved like $7 against Amazon's prices, but whatever.

And I saw Toys R Us having Klonoa (Wii) for $20. I absolutely loved the original game on PS1, and I heard good things about the Wii remake. Again, Wii is tempting me. :D

It's diffrent than the old show (it's darker) so you might want to give it a try on the official website (they have issues 1-17 and the mini-serieses that were made between them)

The cassette apater is for the Plymouth Voyager we got on the 2nd, it only had a cassette deck in it, no cd player. I should be able to hook my psp up to it or perhaps a discman.

The Accliam is in the shop, the transmission went bad and has to be replaced.

I'll probably get $$ for Christmas, but Im hoping that my gf gets a PS3. I passed it up to get her the Wii when WalMart had it "on sale"...

Ironically, given the JRPG thread, I ended up getting the GOTY edition of Fallout 3 on sale today.

Not sure if you've played it yet (might want to wait on installing Broken Steel until you're lv16 at least (it adds some really tough enemies that can decimate you at early lvs.

Its slow to start but once you reach Megaton the game starts picking up.
I'm 110hours in now, on my Very Evil Cannibalistic Slaver Vampire character >.<

Operation Darkness. Arrived in horrible condition, however. They shipped it in a cardboard letter mailer and it has huge cracks on the bottom and top pieces of plastic on the box, so there's a huge hole covering about half of the game box, but the disc is fine, since it was new and in shrinkwrap.

I just love it when the mail takes forever to get you your stuff and deliver it a whole 5 minutes before you were soposed to be at work.

Also, looking at the cover art of PFC has me wondering who at Atlus designed that cover art. I've seen bad box art. Megaman 1, that was horrid. Panesian games had bad art. Wisdom tree had bad art. This is about as bad as the Bubble Bobble Revolution DS game.

Sorry if that's bad mouthing an atlus product on the atlus boards but no insult's intended. Thankfully that's about the worst I can say for the game. The gameplay on the other hand looks to be good all 5 minutes I've played so far. If the gameplay matched the box art, it wouldnt be an atlus released title, it would be a microsoft operating system.

To each their own, but really, it's not just Kaki and me; the general consensus is that Ender's Game is the only book in the series worth reading. Card just gets...really damned weird after that one.

I have to agree with Slayn about Ender's Game. I read a couple of chapters from the second in the series, and well... it wasn't my cup of tea. Ender's Game is a wonderful book, one I usually recommend.

Steam has been running some ridiculous sales. I've picked up Dead Space, Bioshock, Overlord + expansion, Overlord 2, and all the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight games for less than the cost of a new game.

I liked the anime and as far as I know the manga starts the same (but gets better than the anime when they changed the plot for the anime) so you can just watch the first few episodes and see if it's to your liking
