Silent Hill: Shattered Memories will be his swan song with the company.

That's sad, the Silent Hill soundtracks were some of my favorites. I have the feeling Silent Hill is dead to me now.

He can still work with Konami on future Silent Hill games, similar to Uematsu and Square Enix.

Aww, that's too bad. I hope he'll still work with Konami.

I love Akira, but I still don't feel sad. Silent Hill has been dead for a long time for me now, so I've overcome that sadness.

Isn't this actually a good news? I mean, now he can be freelancing to work on different projects from different companies. It's not like he's leaving the whole industry.

Hopefully they will take the lame horse of SH out behind the barn and shoot it in the head, like it deserves.
