If not, you should as it is Caves test to see if westerners want Cave games.

I'd import the hell out of it if I had money.
Still, even if it doesn't do well overseas I don't see why they would region lock future games.

I was thinking of ordering a copy. I have a couple coupons from Play-Asia.
Mind telling me how import-friendly the game is? I've heard all of the menus were in English, but is there anything you've gotten confused by because of the language?

I did. It cost me my entire food budget. Top Ramen for the whole month!

No 360 for me, but I'm certainly interested in the game.
How is it a test for westerners? Is it region-free?

Everyone was out at the stores for Black Friday so there haven't been as many "customers".....

Yes, it's region-free. Cave wants to see how viable shmups are overseas. More info here: Kotaku.com (http://kotaku.com/5368190/bullet-hell-shooter-creators-cave-going-region+free-for-next-xbox-360-game).
I don't have the money to purchase the game, unfortunately. Otherwise, I would support any campaign to bring Cave games to the US for reasonable prices.
