This port has a new very sweet mode where the girls are in skimpy outfits. This version also drops motion control in favor of back to basic buttons.

According to the latest issue of Famitsu No More Heroes: Heroes Paradise, as it's being called, is literally a HD update of the Wii original, with at least one new mode "where the ladies aren't wearing too many clothes".

The port doesn't come as much of a surprise really, as creator Koichi Suda has previously expressed his interest in bringing the series to HD consoles, though sadly it looks like he's opted out of implementing Natal and PS3 motion controls.

It doesn't have a US Publisher yet why not Atlus!

I'm pretty sure Ubisoft will localize it as they did the first one. They're like ATLUS, they're good about sharing.

Loved the Wii version. Its main flaw was that it was a Wii game. So I'll definitely be getting this.

If not Ubisoft, definitely XSeed... They've gotten most of Marvelous' games recently

Dammit Sanctine, why do you have to comment whatever it was I was going to say...

As long as the overworld runs faster than 10fps, I'll buy it.

Grasshopper Manufacture made gamers who missed out on the first No More Heroes for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation. The original game is going under the high-definition knife and will be released in its native territory in February. There's some bad news, though. Ubisoft confirmed to me it will not be publishing No More Heroes on Xbox 360 and PS3 in the US.

"Ubisoft will not be publishing either of these versions," a company spokesperson told me.

The company did not provide any reasons why they're passing. But just because Ubisoft is passing on the revamped No More Heroes doesn't mean the HD-enabled versions of Travis Touchdown's first adventure won't show up here, but another publisher will have to step up.

Ubisoft is still behind the franchise, however, as the company will be publishing the sequel on Wii over here. No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle is scheduled for a January release.

wow that sucks.

Excellent job videoman. As soon as I saw Ubi was passing interest in localization of this I immediately thought ATLUS. They've been our savior in so many regards, but not so much as they have with localizing the titles we demand. ATLUS, we demand this...only ATLUS can give this game the treatment and attention it deserves. I never though Ubisoft was suited for the original, let alone the series, but it feels right at home alongside Kenka Banchou, 3D Dot Game Heroes and Demon's Souls.

Where's the contract? Do you require blood signatures? I'll do whatever it takes to profess my love and need for this game to be branded with the iconic ATLUS logo in the bottom right corner...

...please?!?

I do have one request when the game is published by Atlus since it will have Japanese voices I want the subtitles for the English voices separate since the dialog is different from the Japanese voices!

I made this thread just in case if Ubisoft or Xseed are not publishing it I guess I was right for one of them!

SPOILER: The game had English voices in the Japanese version.

Also the American version was intentionally made more violent so don't be surprised by the lack of gore in any screen shots.

Well Demon's Souls is pretty violent and the Persona series is not a game for kids (that goes for 3 and 4) So Atlus can localize this game they did M rated games before!

Herse's the new sreenshots and they look very shiny http://www.joystiq.com/photos/no-more-heroes-heroes-paradise-ps3-xbox-360/2465340/

I hope Atlus USA or someone else releases this here as Ubisoft won't be doing it. No More Heroes was one of the few games I really loved on the Wii.
And I honestly don't see why Atlus USA would have a problem releasing this.
Megaten series alone is already far more controversial, and I doubt we wouldn't get titles like SMT1&2 and P2:Innocent Sin now if Atlus JP released them.
Strange Journey probably deals with heavier themes than No more Heroes, which only really has the violence, and we are getting it.

Atlus, uve guys have been publishing some insane games this year (Demons Souls, Persona PSP, Devil Survivor), its gotta be hard to follow up but by publishing 3dot hero now and hopefully publishing NMH: Heroes Paradise ull make 2010 even more awsome so please publish this game!!!!

As if they weren't already my favorite publisher, if they secured No More Heroes Paradise AND preserved the original English voice track alongside the new Japanese voices (w/Subtitles), it would permanently cement my opinion.

Here's some new TV ads in Japan with an new theme song from 9mm Parabellum Bullet.

It is not fair if the PS3 is rated T and the Xbox360 Is rated M.

So if possible make both versions rated M in the US version.

I wonder how NMH2 is selling. I would imagine that if it sells well, Ubisoft may rethink their position on Heroe's Paradise.

I think that Ubisoft is just playing dumb with us. I mean, if they have the time to create an UNCENSORED and CENSORED version of NMH 2, they should have the time to port Heroe's Paradise to the US. If it's not released here, there's always the good old Play-Asia to give you what you want as this game is region free ;)

Yet another game that would amazing to have over here. I mildly enjoyed the original on the Wii but the motion controls annoyed me just a bit, as I tended to have trouble with a few of the motions...I blame myself, so having the game for a regular system would be great!

There is no uncensored version for the PS3...they're (JPN/ASN releases) both the original Japanese version with black pixels in place of blood. This was the ORIGINAL version intent from Goichi Suda himself, so if anything, the versions featuring blood are localized for other regions. Think of those as, simply, the gratuitous versions.

Xbox 360 is the only version to feature the "CERO Z" rating...basically the North American release of the Wii version in HD. Honestly, I've played through the first 3 ranks on the PS3 version and it isn't missed. Although I didn't have a problem with it the first time through on the Wii, the blood is rather distracting after playing this version...it's just a far more clean presentation with the same style, simply a lack of gratuitous violence.

I wish I could see a side by side comparison on the "blood count". I'm not a gore junkie but I felt that the gratuitous violence helped with the whole punk mentality of the game.

What was added with this game anyway? Just HD graphics? Trying to decide if I'll just pick up the original on Wii instead of attempting to wait for this (when I get money, of course, to do so) and if there aren't any real content additions then I'll probably pass on this, as I don't really give a damn about graphics.

The Wii version had English voice acting in the Japanese version so this time they got it dubbed in Japanese, I think that and the controls are the only other differences. If doing finishers and specials with the Wii remote doesn't bother you either then there's no real reason to wait.

I really do doubt that. Blood was probably replaced in the original version because of rating and publishing limitations.

I seem to remember a number of interviews with the guy before the game was released and him saying he wanted to make it as violent as possible.
