Hottarake no Shima Kanata to Nijiiro no Kagami (http://www.hottarake.jp/), a DS RPG published by Bandai Namco in Japan, features animation work from Production IG and is developed by Climax Entertainment. In fact, it even plays somewhat like Climax's Steal Princess. A video of the game in action can be seen here. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDP4TfAVL1g)

There has just been a movie release related to the property in Japan called 'Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror' (Hottarake no Shima: Haruka to Mahou no Kagami), again from Production IG (in association with Fuji TV). It's a 3D animation movie, rather like a Pixar film. For those interested, here's a trailer of the film. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zK4aukhMEgQ)

Hopefully Atlus can take a look at this one. It looks like the movie could get a Western release, so tying in with that would obviously be a good idea.

I'm no Japanese speaker myself, but looking at that cover pic, the game isn't titled "Haruka to Mahou no Kagami." The movie is, but not the game.

Looks interesting though. I need to learn more about this.

What a foolish mistake - sorry for that. It's because I was paying too much attention to the movie version...

The game's called Hottarake no Shima Kanata to Nijiiro no Kagami. Apologies for the confusion. Can a mod please change the topic title?

I would rather watch the movie, but the game seems pretty fun.
