View Full Version : How does the Nexus reach white tendancy?

The nexus does have a tendency, indicated by the upper right corner of the screen. My nexus is pure white, but what can cause this? To achieve white tendency you must kill black phantoms, primeval demons, or defeat a boss, none of which the nexus has?
Unless the final boss is considered a nexus boss, but I hardly think one boss per playthough would be enough to counteract all the people suiciding or losing to NPC's in the nexus?
Could entering the nexus is soul form and leaving in body form raise tendency? If so, could this be used in other worlds?

Is this a dumb question or something?
What game events could lead to the nexus reaching white tendency?
Even an "I don't know" would be appreciated.

I have a theory.
My Nexus T is also PW and it was that way even before I lulled the Old One. So, the best way to explain it is that it has something to do with your CT.
It will take a PBCT player to confirm this but it is the best answer I can come up with at the moment.
PS. 300 posts suckers!

Doesn't have to do with character tendancy. I can confirm as I have PBCT right now.

You mean PBCT.

So it seems I was wrong. :)

PBNT = pure black nexus tendancy lol...
personally I have not noticed a nexus tendancy but I'll check it out tonight... It's probably fixed tho (as in non changeable)

honestly the Nexus starts at PW and will always stay at PW from my experience, I have tried getting myself killed by Ostrava etc. and the tendency in the top right has never changed. I also have PBCT and that doesn't affect it either. It does show in the top right but not the WT tab so I am guessing it is not supposed to be changed nor would it affect anything if it did change.

The official guide says the nexus does have it's own individual tendency, but it doesn't do or mean anything.
If you start offline, you will see the nexus starts neutral. Getting it black is easy, just suicide in body for while inside the nexus, it will shift towards black.
White Nexus Tendency is the real perplexing question, as there is no conceivable way to make it shift towards white, and yet it is white?
Again, I'll assert my theory that entering a world as a soul and leaving as a body raises the tendency. Easily testable with some stones of emphirialaalseasleafaefa eyes.

Doesn't Ephemeral mean: Only lasts for a short period of time? I think i learned that in Biology, like butterfly cocoons are ephemeral, and i think it's a Greek word. Which is probably why FiOth loves it so much... lol ;)
