And I know Aigis is going to leave the party, and she's one of my main party members.

When she leaves the party should I just keep climbing Tartarus with another character taking her spot until she rejoins or should I not climb Tartarus until she rejoins at the end of December?

Well I dont think a lack of characters shoud keep you from climbing Tartarus depending on you ending because you battle with Nyx is in January
