Death Cloud or Blueblood Sword

Which weapon is better for an NG + Magician??

Here are my stats so far:

Vitality - 20
Intelligence - 26
Endurance - 22
Strength- 30
Dexterity 20
Majic - 25
Faith - 16
Luck - 12

I'm on NG+ Soul Level 91

I went for death cloud on my first playthrough. Very useful for killing those challenging NPC black phantoms, and quite dangerous in PVP. I have no experience with the blueblood sword but I understand it gets a boost from luck, which seems kind of useless because luck isn't an ideal stat to invest in.

So I suggest death cloud, but I have no experience with the blueblood so I also suggest getting an opinion from someone who does.

Thanks, i appreciate the response. I've been reading the wiki and doing searches on the board too for opinions prior to my posting also. Death Cloud will be my choice mainly for pvp as i've been getting toasted by those invading me.

Get death cloud because your luck stats is very very low! So if your keeping the soul to upgrade your luck do so bhut if not get death cloud or ust use it for souls!

That depends on what you plan to do during your playthrough. If you are going NPC/black phantom hunting (Selene, Garl, Miralda, etc.) get death cloud.

If not and you have poison cloud then go for the sword.

Personally I took death cloud and it made killing Phantom Garl and Satsuki easy but I wish I took the sword instead as death cloud doesn't work on most bosses and firestorm is usually more effect in boss fights anyway.

Why the blueblood sword is one of the best in the game is because it can be used with Enchant/Light/Curse Weapon spells and only needs about 30 luck to get a significant dmg bonus.

Also your characters stats look dilettantish, I suggest you start specializing getting by getting primary combat method damage stat to at least 40 as soon as possible.
