So far I've got a few characters, all starting to do different things.

Gawain - A Knight, averaging out in Endurance, Vitality, Strength, higher Dex, and good faith (Moonlight sword). He can take a hit, and give many back. He can also whip out a bow to combat some range.

Inara - A cute little mage. I'm still learning the ins and outs with her, and how to balance what spells to learn. She's got decent VIT, some pumped out INT, and a decent magical backing (she needs to get Strength to 18, Faith to 18, then a *lot* more INT for spell slots). Very different playstyle than the knight.

Now I want a cute little glass cannon female. Laurel will be a high dex character but I'm not sure the exact ways to go about it.

What type of strength cap should I look at? I figured I'd do a sharp Uchigatana (though Bladestone sucks, maybe I'll do something else with a high Dex modifier like Tearing).

What type of weapons should I go for, and what else?

I'm thinking of going to 20 Vitality, 18 in Strength, 20 in Endurance then just flooding my dexterity to the point of breaking. I know farming spider stones again is going to suck, but I also know how worth it is. It's also really easy to plunge stonefang into pure black so it'll manage.

What type of equipment should I be looking for? Obviously low weight, thats a standard (maybe some Binded armor however, for looks). Rings is obviously Thief, but what else? I was debating eternal warrior, or Avarice for farming (since she'll have access to Silver Gloves as well.) Clever Rats Ring for hyper mode, obviously.

I guess just some general suggestions. I'm already good at dodging and rolling, I practiced by doing 1-3 and 2-2 for *lots* of people. Figure once I can survive flamelurker without getting him stuck behind things with a bow, I know how to dodge.

Sounds like how I made my first character, my hunter. I'm currently running with a Tearing Uchigatana +5, till I get enough Bladestone for Sharp Uchigatana +5. Anything with an S benefit to dex will be nice, but the Sharp Uchigatana's gonna be where the damage will be at at high levels.

As far as a bow, Sticky Compound Long Bow +5 is the only way to go. You will be one shotting things left and right in Hyper mode.

As far as armor, I like the Black Leather set, but also if you're a female, Old Raggedy is nice for the plague resistance.

For rings, just run with Thief in one slot, and Clever Rats in another spot. Getting hit will kill you anyway, with low Vitality, so you might as well stack up your damage high as you can so you won't get hit.

Typically with this setup, my weapon set up is:
Left Hand 1:Talisman of Beasts
Left Hand 2:Sticky Compound Longbow +5
Right Hand 1:Tearing Uchigatana +5
Right Hand 2:Morion Blade (for an even better hyper mode)
