I was looking into getting that Bravia for my parents for Christmas. Do you think it would be good for a bedroom? I was thinking 26"-32" should be enough, size wise.

Depending on how big the bedroom is and how far they will be sitting from the TV... typically yes, 32" is the perfect size for most bedrooms.
